Regarding Addons...

Well, I myself am not much of a tech person, but I do know a few things, and this is not one of them. What I am wanting to accomplish here is getting to install addons into my RoM client without the use of the curse client. Most of the addons I'm dealing with are old ones that are in the form of a .zip or .rar file, and the question is: how do I take these compressed files and put them into my client as a useable addon?

Thanks in advance :)!

this should probably be redirected to the addons section

Yeah, but I figured a lot more people read this section, and it IS a genuine question, so I figured why not...

You have to make a folder in your rom game folders called Interface, then make a subfolder of that called Addons (pretty sure both need to be capitalized) then dump your addons in the folder called Addons. Thats pretty much it unless the specific addons require more file placement, in which case they should clearly state it in their FAQ or description, if not , they aren't worth using anyway.

Thanks, I believe that's all I need to know for now, since I'm sure winrar will do the rest. I'll come back if I need any further help though!

Capitalization doesn't matter for those folders.
