Search for "rom scrutinizer addon" in google. Its on Curseforge. Should be the first result.

Scrutinizer is no longer an actively updated project, and was archived to curseforge.com. The search doesn't always work well on that site, so here's a link.

As a reminder,
Any addons like what you seek are not supported by the game support folks.
Players have lost a lot of items using add-ons.
Although Support will try to help you, it is not always successful.:)

Eledhwen, this is probably the 3rd or so time ive seen this posted by FMs in the last couple of days, and I'm rather confused as to where its comming from. I didnt post "oh, i downloaded this scrut and my game blew up, wtf froggy!?!?!?" I'm just asking where people get there scrutinizer so I can begin using it myself. There isn't really much of a need for you guys to be covering your butts if there doesn't seem to be an issue.

If you really want this message to get out there, just throw one thread up in the addons/macro section saying "hey, were not responsible for this" and let it be at that rather than killing yourself trying to post whenever someone asks about addons.

Sorry if that seemed rude, it wasn't the intention.

When I see players use add-ons, I warn them of the dangers inherit to them.
I also remind players you are subject to losing items that may or not able to be replaced.
Most people are not aware there are no supported add-ons in RoM.
Not trying to cover anything but simply doing our jobs. Not all are as knowledgeable as you and it is better to nip it in the bud that having to explain why we cannot really help you if you lose everything. You will be amazed at the tickets on lost items that are caused by add-ons.

I've never heard of any addon deleting items. However, since they don't offer support for any addon, addons are a fantastic scapegoat for every problem support doesn't feel like fixing. Runes of Magic also does not maintain backwards compatibility, and most patches will break multiple addons unnecessarily--all part of the plan.

Anyway, I make this post because I did an additional search, and found a version of Scrutinizer updated to display Warden pet damage here on the EU forums. That may or may not really matter to you, but there it is.

There are several known addons that have lost items in the past. One was an old version of the mailbox addon and the AH addon also. Not sure if they were coded badly or what. About the only safe addons are ones that are either still supported by their original coders or those that have been taken over by other coders. I personaly will not use an addon that is over 6 months old and even then it better be a good addon.

I have never heard of an addon deleting items 'by mistake'. There have been issues in the past (no idea about now) with Item Preview that stores things in the hidden slots of the AT so if you transmute something without removing them first, they are destroyed. But no genuine addon is going to have code that deliberately deletes stuff when you don't want it to.

However you can have addons that have functionality to delete things or transmute them and if you have them configured wrong you are in for trouble and it will be entirely your responsibility.

vfwiffo told of a time he used fusion addon to make some valuable stats into dirty stones, I have had lootomatic through away something I paid 2kk for as I hadn't considered that it was a low level item twinked from Pasper's and I had been farming that instance for gold and a Memory on another toon and so had set all the low value drops to be discarded (what made it worse was it also threw away my current helm at the same time as soon as I took it out of my mailbox). Some guy was experimenting with an addon called autosell (or something) and lost his entire inventory.

None of these were addon malfunctions (though I suppose it is technically possible) but user errors with use and/or configuration. And yes it is good that players understand that these errors are not necessarily covered by Support, but it doesn't really need to be reiterated so often. With common sense you can navigate these obstacles, and if you don't have enough of that precious commodity then you are SOL anyway - warnings aren't going to help.

fyi, the scrut that shows wrd pet damage is somewhat useless as reg scrut adds pet damage with masters damage. come to find wardens r still fail in dps.

Useless is your opinion. Many Warden/Scout's like having the Damage separate so they can see exactly what their pet is hitting for. As far as dps goes, I wouldn't know, I don't main a warden.
