Max Camera Distance; Can this be increased?

In WoW, you can run a macro like:

/console CameraDistanceMaxFactor 3
/console SetCVar("cameraDistanceMax", 30)

In SWtoR, you modify the camera distance in a settings file, I believe.

Is there a way to accomplish this through in RoM an AddOn, macro, setting, etc.?

BTW: There was an AddOn last updated in 2010 that would help with keeping the camera zoomed out, has anyone looked into updating this, or making a new one?

I havent found one. ive been looking for one as my laptop mouse doesnt have a scroll wheel. you would think a simple command /shortcut would exist. I used to use the autozoom out addon wich is the one i think your talking about. i removed it just recently as it works, but was constantly getting error messages and when ur in closed quarters, its a nuisance. heres to hoping one gets added 8)

The add-on still exists and as far as I know, still works.

It's code is actually pretty simple.

You can modify it to your needs to ensure that it never resets your view distance in small areas.
