Dalanis Event Raid Leaders Shafting People

Some raid leaders are turning off COI, kicking people when Queue is full, then inviting their friends and turning COI back on. -Just wanted everyone to be aware of this.

You can stop this by turning your COI on if you are assistant. This practice is leading to second groups forming during events splitting the coins when it doesn't need to happen.

Ive noticed that as well. Ive also noticed them kicking non afker's. For that reason i dont know why though.

Also o what you said, most raid leaders have turned off the auto assist so that ruines the group itself.

If you are relying on events to get momentoes, you better cap out and find a guild to do instances! Havn't done an event in months, and loving it!!

Well, you honestly can't really complain about it (I know how you feel though :/). It is their choice how to run the group, and the peoples' choices as to if they join the groups or not. GM's can't really do anything about it, but I do know how you feel, it does suck :/

Then just start a second group and screw them over... at least both groups will get coins/pearls then.

I do have to agree that running instances will give you a better mento count in return and you have a chance on getting some good gear.

The people running COI for there own raid groups can kick whom ever they like seeing they run the addon for there own use.

Exactly - these events are there for everyone, not just the first 36 people with no life who can stay logged in all day and occupy a spot - so here's the trick:

If the COI leader is being a dork or the group is full and you are involunatrily exlcuded, form a group with at least one other player and wait for the event to start. The during the event aggro as many mobs as you can and do damage to them as the event progresses. When the event ends, provided you are in the event's area of effect, you too should get at least some pearls/coins which you deserve to get merely for being a RoM player. Who is in some COI group does not matter, the events are for EVERYONE.

With all that said, the BEST solution is to join a guild or have a tight circle of buds and farm intances for mentos - the yield is far better than these events - the events are there to just get you started.
