Yeah i personally wouldnt do this and dont recomend it to anyone else untill it is cleared by an GM that it is ok to do so what with all of the things i see floating around that things such as these may be compromised causing the recent hackings of player accounts...

Or maybe if you ACTUALLY WENT TO THE SITE. MMOHut is a VERY Well known, MMO Critique. But whatever, it doesnt even ask you for your Account info, just need to make an MMOHut account to get the key for it. then you log onto your RoM and enter the key >_> Not that complicated. No where in there is there a download for a keylogger or anything.

There has been a surge in hacked RoM accounts lately. Be careful

JFYI: Password stealers have gotten a lot more sophisticated the last few years. Just because they don't ask you for your password doesn't mean they aren't going to steal it. Many people get there browser hijacked without realizing it. No software downloaded so nothing for the anti-virus to detect and they don't need a key logger because you will unwittingly send them your account name and password when you go to redeem your key...key loggers are old school.

mmohut is a well-known and reputable site within the gaming industry and the packages they are giving away were provided by Runes of Magic and are only redeemable here at the official RoM website, so that should tell you something. The same giveaway is occurring at mmorpg.com.

If you are nervous about giving them information (even though you create a different and unique login at each site) then don't. Not a big deal. However, there is a difference between caution and paranoia.

lol i already went and redeemed my free package as soon as i saw this post. mmohut.com is a very well known place for deals like this so i didnt hestitate to jump on it.

for all you out there who are leery of it, thats quite alright with us, more free packages to go around for those who believe xD

For christ's sake all i was saying is to just be cautious...and for the OP's info i know that the site is well trusted and that dosn't mean sht to hackers who really know their stuff. Sheesh what started out to be a friendly warning turned into a damn nightmare...i sware the player base these days is either full of little pre-teens or adults with no maturity lvl what so ever.
