"And you are absolutely certain this is safe?", the CM asked with a doubtful look at the bottle on the table. The question lingers in the room for a few seconds before the elderly, slightly crazy looking man nods repeatedly and lifts a finger. "Safe? Safe??? This is a masterpiece! It will make you stronger, give you more endurance, more resistance to ANY possible negative effect anyone could possibly throw at you AND..." The man leans closer in conspiring manner and whispers " think about the jealousy of the other CMs when they find out YOU were the first one to try it and proof its benefits!"

The candle light flickers and the liquid in the bottle reflects blue sparkles, looking very safe and very tasty.

Licking the lips, the CM's eyes search contact with the mad scientist. "But it IS absolutely safe, right?"

The elderly man chuckles and raises both hands, sounding very sincere "Absolutely! I tested it myself!"

"Fine then" says the CM and grabs for the bottle, emptying it in one big gulp. Only a few moments passed before the light of the candle went out, turning the room pitch black, would it not be for the wide open door banging against the wall as the elderly man runs out into the wild, screaming like a maniac and fleeing in terror. From the dark depths of the room raises a frenzied howl and dark shadows spread out and grasp for the daylight sun outside. Then nothing but silence...

Seriously, what was I thinking? Fellow Taboreans, this is a time of need! It was only with great hesitation that I agreed to join into the experiment of this old man, who promised his potion to be of great benefit for all adventurers alike, and who was I to pass out on that chance? Now here I am, look at me... I am merely a shadow of my former self! And even worse... I am trapped in this evil frenzy, unable to make it stop. If no-one comes to my aid, I will turn into a willing-less servant of evil and bring havoc to Taborea! Aid me! Find me at the Lake of Magic Mist* in the time from 11th September until 17th September* and end my torment. Only by defeating the evil I have become can the cursed effect of the potion be lifted!

To make matters worse, all kind of evil spawns from the Underworld seem to be attracted by my new appearance. So be aware when you find me, it will not be just me you will be facing!

And to shout proof of the danger that this potion is, capture a picture showing my hideous change and show it to everyone on our forums until the 24th of September to warn them of the mad scientist's twisted tongue and promises! We will select one winning picture from the community and reward your efforts with one Extra-Large Surprise Bag.

*CMs will appear in Channel 1 only at random times on your server, to be announced on forums and facebook

I thought this was about the hideous forum transformation from a readable color scheme to an ugly mess. Cause that would certainly qualify as "failed experiment".

To those who find blue on dark grey even worse than usual white on dark grey, the Cliff notes version is:

Find me at the Lake of Magic Mist* in the time from 11th September until 17th September* and end my torment. Capture a picture showing my hideous change and show it to everyone on our forums until the 24th of September. We will select one winning picture and send one Extra-Large Surprise Bag.

Oh, and the link did not work for me. I think "extragrosser-ueberraschungsbeutel" is confusing it. :p

Edit: Darn. That is not it. Runesdatabase seems to be acting up.

These posts are gibberish, can you guys just say... "Go Here, Do this". I do not need the presentation, I don't follow the story lines. When Diamonds go on sale, just say they are sale, I don't care about some fictitious convoluted story that goes along with every stupid post. Fire that guy and get another guy in tech support and fix the bugs!

idk wat is wrong with u all.
1. the forum looks very nice now, i personally like it
2. don't mess with the CM's, they are trying hard to make this game enjoyable
3. what is the point of playing a RPG if u dont follow the story lines or enjoy the CM's tryin to make it fun
4. simply puttin go here do this is just FRAQQING BORING!!

For some reason I was under impression they are talking about failed sales experiment they are pullin' on us since EU took over.

As for forum and those that like this style, please leave them option to have it. All I got from this style is pressure in forehead...

We will start visiting the servers tomorrow, due to some organizational stuff.

My plan is:

Thursday:
2 pm PDT - Govinda
3 pm PDT - Artemis

Friday:
2 pm PDT - Osha
3 pm PDT - Indigo

Monday:
2 pm PDT - Reni
3 pm PDT - Grimdal

Duelist will visit the server Palenque, he will give the time/date himself, I do not have that information at the moment.

When we come and visit, do not forget to make screenshots and post them in this thread, so we can find a winner for our prize!

oh Duelist is that the guy who put everyone on the bridge (the part of Varanas which has the most lag). Oh and he kept disappearing, and then went poof and left everyone hanging without a goodbye.

I make the same complain on the European threads all the time we have this type of event but no-one pays the slightest bit of attention.

At least my US toons can participate in the US events cos they'll happen later at night for me.
