The US has a limit of five without prior written consent from GAI. Europe does not have a limit. But since this is the US forums, we clearly get the "special" treatment.

AU, you need to read your agreement when lauching the game. Since the move to US servers, you may be under the same "special" treatment of 5 account limit.



On a different note: multiboxing
The concept of multiboxing is confusing due to the fact that one cannot log into the same account while multiclienting, therefor, it must be different accounts for multiboxing. Which is really no different that different players on different accounts using the same isp connection in one household/location?

Realize that US is getting the red headed step child treatment yet again. It would be great to be under the same guildlines, but that is not the written information. Feel free to write support and all other avenues to get this fixed.

and i pointed out with all logic that this is a rather obvious mistake/oversight since all that crap got changed AFTER the last listed update of the file. As i linked with proof to an official statement from the highest person the players will get to talk to who said its the same for all regions, with checking the homepage for ALL other gameforge-run regions, ALL regions have the guidelines linked including EN-US, but all regions except EN-US got the updated file for the terms. Because "F you american players", thats why. Yeah, sure. Makes totally sense.

Honest question because i do not know the answer:
Does GAI aka Gameforge America Inc even exist anymore except on paper? (US Support staff maybe?) - The (paid) folks who were not based in Berlin are all(?) gone like Dionaea and Nytefall. Hell, your current CM is from Croatia, which lies in ... ding... Europe. I take a wild guess and think he's working from either Berlin or Karlsruhe...

Even US-ES (!!!) has both files updated. What more does it need to bring you to "someone forgot to update the freaking page"? I dont know who's responsible for updating the text files in the client, if that is to do for Runewaker, wait another year for it to happen if its not the DE file.

Money question: Please explain how US-ES (what exactly might that be? for everyone in north(?) america able to understand spanish?) has both updated and is stated to be run by Gameforge Berlin from Germany, while US-EN (which is atleast on Palenque essentially the same players on the same server with a different language setting - makes sense, no?)



While i do see your point, im still saying all available information given by officials and seen on the homepage points to this being a case of "someone forget to link to the correct file".

a) someone forgot to update the last missing link on the freaking homepage (let alone the client, we all know Runewakers speed - i did not check it by hand, can do via FDB later if needed...)
b) the same community playing together is being run by 2 different companies at the same time under 2 different rules, even on the same server, for example Palenque which is flagged as US+ES ...
b implies c) Everyone with client language english is therefore limited to 5 accounts and everyone whos spanish is good enough to understand the game in it has no limits at all - makes perfect sense. NOT.

b+c .... Its total illogical bullcrap and does not make sense at all to be like this.

Set client to spanish, create as much accounts as you like. Oh your language is english? 5 Accounts only please. I dont care if youre the same person.

On the other hand, its a moot discussion anyway. Gameforge Berlin AG will be merged into Gameforge Headquarters in Karlsruhe later in this year where RoM will then be managed from (aka all who are currently working in Berlin will either need to move to Karlsruhe continuing to work from there or get a new job because Gameforge Berlin will be shutting down) so they will need to change and update everything again, and maybe, just maybe, they will get it done correctly this time so we dont have to argue about stupid stuff like this.

So we can either ask someone in blue now, get an answer, and do it again after September, or postpone this crap until after September :p

Actually Yoman stated, and restated, before your posting even, that the TOS is not updated to the most recent version.

Which is interesting, because the TOS they present us with is the old one, which we never agree to. Instead, we're agreeing to the old one, on the US side anyways. Yet from what I'm gathering, we're meant to be agreeing to the updated one.

Well, since the thread is back on topic and all... I feel like this has been a great event, it really widened the availability of proof gear. Maybe consider making this a recurring thing. I say this because our proof supply is woefully restricted as of late, with mandara bugged and hackman missing for the past forever. This leaves us with three bosses to get proofs from, and out of those three only wodjin is really feasible for anyone to farm. That restricts us to 15 proofs every 3 days per server, which doesn't go very far. This event helped to greatly bridge the gap between supply and demand. I'd say it's definitely a keeper.

It is great event, not that I know what I will do with all PoMs... Thank you! Great job and idea...

I think this was a great event, and was much needed. There is only 2 suggestions i have to offer with it

1) do it more often
2) also look into putting in a more constant way to get Proofs besides world bosses

Mostly the 1st suggestion is fine though. I would love to do this again

Maybe we could have an event where badges of the trial were traded for low level runes. It could help a lot of people with siege titles.

Can we make 50 different accounts with 8 toons per account?? Damn imagine the proof of Myth. I would have to spend weeks in the corner of our round room after doing so many minigames and dailies to get them , lol. But seriously, multiple as in illimited accounts?

That would explain the 118% new people since Febuary on US servers, especially if they got a hint of upcoming Proof event.

Could we get a simple direct answer to how many accounts per person, tyvm.
