i like the idea, bu i dislike how easily and largely exploited it was. For example, above the person who got over a hundred by multiple clienting, or many on. Server wo have bragged that they'll wel over a hundred. These currency items are for the best gear and stats in the game, giving a few away is all wel and good. Giving them away to anyone who can sit and power level and multi account all day to get hundreds is not a good format.

Not sure what you guys have against f2pers. For a server where endgameville has a population of 20, doing mini games all day is the only worthwhile time waster. Creat new account, feed 1m xp orb, gear up with X crap, dog meat, do 4 minis. Not like there is a bot to do that (is there?). Aside from gobs, the rest has to be done individually. Sorry I dont play the game your way, aka running the highest instance and killing the toughest bosses. Tried that, didnt work. At least now I can be on equal footing with other players in siege.

I don't think it has anything to do with f2p. Can't say what others are talking about but I was talking about players who have computer(s) that can run 6 clients at the same time, and train 5 alts through goblin games at once!!! And they don't even need to make orbs, they just bring alts to tosh and power lvl to 50 in 30min or less I think.

But even someone like you who just happens to play how you do and maybe who just happens to have more shells saved than average player makes it unfair. Although I don't mind it as much in your case because you just got lucky the event worked out well for your style of play.

Bosses that drop these are camped by a small number of endgame guilds - the rest of the server populations have no chance at getting these unless they buy them from other players. An event like this allows guilds who can't farm those bosses to obtain PoMs.

Would I prefer PoMs to drop off of bosses in KBN+ starting from boss two? Sure. I think that would be a great way to make these more accessible...but it surely doesn't make this event a horrible idea. Bottom line, it got PoMs out to the general population, without people having to buy them. If you were too bothered to do minigames to get them, that's your fault, not the people who created the event.

I wouldn't expect to get items that buy the best gear in the game for nothing. At least with minigames, repetitive as they may be, you are putting in some effort. As for people who used 234082028 alts for this, they're not the norm. There will always people who exploit events like this, but that doesn't mean that those of us that are honest players shouldn't get a chance at something as hard-to-get as PoMs.

There's a limit to how much Gameforge can do, and coding new boss drops into instances is probably something RW needs to do on their end...which means it's not likely to ever happen. At least Gameforge is trying to compromise. I for one was very happy for this event.

And I never ever ever said it made EVERYONE unhappy. If that's you're impression you should read my posts again. I gave reasons why I personally didn't like the event.

I did point out the fact that many people I know, friends of mine, don't like that the stats are random and often crap and other gambles like gashas and jewels. I also pointed out how this makes the work to do this event much less rewarding. But I never said everyone didn't like the event. Not even close. If I confused you please forgive me.

They want feedback on the event, if we don't tell them what we don't like they won't know. Nobody is forcing you to read other peoples feedback. It's directed at management not you.

on topic even if some did abuse this event it is definatly a step in the right direction.
i would like to see some guild oriented events to help with the insane ruby requirements for upgrades to castles.
And i really enjoyed the riddle type events too. even if they didnt give alot if rubies.maybe we could have a riddle event that gives3 poms for last turn in.once per day per account.

I don't know where you? I did think you were talking about me as I admitedly am crying about the event and how it was easily exploited. As the song goes, it's my party and I'll cry if I want too. And again, if nobody cries, they won't know people are sad.

But as I said, and I'm happy to repeat it over and over for you, I find it was a lot of work for little reward. AND AGAIN, as i said before, it is better than nothing. At least people can get UD gear now. Ya that's great. But that doesn't change the fact that I farmed mini games 6 days straight in hopes for a few decent stats or maybe an OD piece and got not one out of 8 pulls. Call me greedy, call me spoiled, I don't care, that's your opinion, but I feel all the work should be rewarded better. I'm entitled to that opinion. The end.

Not everyone can afford a new computer to exploit a RoM event. You're unbelievable.

Meh you dont realy need a good computer at all, just need some patience + music + coffee. I ran 10 - 20 characters a day doing minis one by one for 7 days. Gotta put in more effort if you are f2per.
