OK, my opinion: the PoM event was a great idea, but the cost/requirements were too low...I'd say make a min lvl of 65+ to trade for PoM's and maybe only reduce it to the option of 1 PoM for 150 shells once per day, with no options for 2 or 3 shells...

I agree, it's not all about the computer. You could make do with less and do even more work but that doesn't exactly make it fair either. But it's also a time and patience factor. Not everyone can farm 18 hours a day. And I wouldn't even call it an exploit because multiple accounts are allowed after all. It's just not very balanced in my opinion. I think they could of easily limited the pulls to higher levels as some suggested. Not a level that can be reached in 30min anyways. The gear is for lvl 75 plus after all.

Back to Topic: I'd disagree with Cike that the 2-3 PoM option should be removed. Imo, its really the people running 25 million alts through minigames that are really the issue. After the first 1-2 days or so, most people would be out of shells, and with a max of 160 shells per day, the 3 PoM trade probably wouldn't be used that often anyway, given that its a worse deal than the 1 and 2 PoM trades.

The level requirement would, imo, prevent most of the exploiting. Being someone that saves up shells (for idk what reason) and has at least 600 shells pre-proof event everyday, even when I spent all my shells and did CoT/Gobs everyday on my 1 account (don't have time for the other 2 minigames), I ended with 12 proofs. Enough just to pull twice, which I think is a decent amount, but not really OMG-thats-way-too-much.

HTF is it little reward??? theres only one stat that is bad that you get from Pom's and thats wis/MA, and that drops ooooohhhh like never, if you constantly roll plate or chain or whatev, i guarantee that 90% of the time or MORE, your gonna get a dex/pa, str/pa, sta/hp, str/sta, or dex/sta, ALLL viable stats.

ANDDD at the same time you also can sell your UD piece of pom gear for a little cashflow, (ive sold every piece of fail POM gear ive rolled on for 10 mil or more since they came out), orrrr you get lucky and roll OD, and bamm your seeing $$$$ in your eyes then, or youll actually use the piece of gear to better yourself.

I don't think that option to pull more then 1 PoM per day made much of difference, as you can't just get enough shells per day to pull more then 1-2. If you had stack of shells, nice... but even that does not last long, as you can use 675 to pull 6 PoMs and you back to normal.

Even level does not make any difference, as most of low level alts are unable to run all mini games, except being taken into GG group. As all of those mini games are time sink and require some gear to complete (or scrolls), I don't feel bad if someone had enough time to run them all on multiple accounts... I don't have such a time, but why not reward someone doing lots of work (much more work then me) to have something in return?

I though the Dex/Stam was the crap chain/plate stat? So whats the stat you get the remaining unlucky 10% of the time?

Imo, its the same thing as when people made umptybillion accounts and increased the server pop. by like 106% or something just to get that daily reset ticket. Just because those people had the time to make accounts doesn't mean they should get more daily resets for their time.

People running around with over 100 PoM's are just... ridiculous. Its supposed to be a rare currency for the best gear in game.

Tis amazin how ppl complain. The event afore this one "it is too easy to bot through KS for the runes." This one, "its too easy to multi-client through gobs." Mates, the idear twas ter giver out some great rewards fer specified effort. Whilest me cannot mulitbox 5-6 toons any time, me no would begrudge anyone who can (tisn't this a pay-ter-win game?). They put out the money fer the high value comp, they done did lvl their toons (even iffn tis easy fer em ter do, they still did it), they tooker the time ta run em thru dailies an minis. 100 PoMs or more?! Awesome work. Sure tis better than all the QQin that goeth on over the 3-4 world bosses that only getteth 15-20 PoMs on a server. Or those that exploited Targonharl until their alt bags twere full o PoMs. Me would liker ta see more o these type o events on the horizen.


tldr (an translated); Lag, ignore the QQers, you will always have them. This was a great game event in every way. I would like to see more in the future.

You got it wrong there, my friend. It is not their amount of alts they created that was the problem, but the fact that they registered those daily reset tickets on one account, which was not something GF wanted.

Here, easier access to PoM is what players always wanted... we got it... nice job GF.

I recommend incorporating the POM into an extended honor party system. Spirit point are inadequate, the honor party system would aid in getting and keeping new players, and this would aid in the midgame. I suggest that a version of honor party be applied to the magical reconstruction line. Perhaps a level 80+ character helping a level 55-65 with those quest for POM when the lower character turns in those quest.

More POMs means more stats and gear for high level players, which leads to more dia usage for upgrades, which is more money for GF.

Feel free to come up with another solution if this does not meet your fancy

When you present an "opinion" thats far removed for the general consensus of....the whole comunity, added to the fact that your mannerism is borderline childlike/immature/spoiled, along with referring to things irrelevant to the topic - you're going to get trolled.

Fact of the matter is, GF is giving access to top of the line gear/stats for essentially little-no work, and you're crying about not rolling 100% OD. You then bring the argument of jewels - while you're correct, most people do agree they shouldnt fail - it is completely irrelevant to this event, and honestly, is too charitable and exploitable.

Its like getting a free $100 bill handed to you, and complaining you didnt get more.

IMO, and maybe this is just me (I know its not, because I've spoken to others about this), POMs should not:

1) Exist.
2) Be so easily given away in an exploitable manner.

At the very least, these POMs should have been traded at a rate of 200-300 shells per 1 POM.
