I don't think the competition has started yet.I want to participate but I can't post in that thread because it's closed :/
In other words, 95% of the guilds have a very slim chance to win... Looks like we're down to the 6 guilds that can clear content thats released recently.

Please try to be in dungeons appropriate for your level as doing opposite may decrease your chances for winning.

And one thing about the competition: Why final boss? Most of the players in the game can barely make it past the first boss unless its an old instance from years ago (KT (Level 62) and below, most guilds can't even kill Annelia yet...), which of course, decreases the chances for them to win, according to this line:In other words, 95% of the guilds have a very slim chance to win... The problem is, 95% of the game population cannot clear any content lv 67+, even with the current level 80 cap. Most cannot even do the first boss in TOSH, a level 70 instance. There are only about 6 guilds in the entire US servers conbined that is capable of running level appropriate content. So you effectively exclude the majority of the population from participating. Unless you include easy mode, in which case it defeats the point of making this final boss limitation, because it doesn't take any "gaming skills" to do easy mode - it can be farmed in 10 minutes even by "n00b players".
2. Final boss because we don't want to make it really easy. Coz somone can make a great screenshot and be complete n00b player without any gaming skills. This way we ask for both. To be good player and to have an eye of details![]()

I can see the reasoning behind these rules, but they simplely do not work in RoM, because it costs several hundred dollars per month to be able to run "Level appropriate content", assuming that you could somehow find 11 more people that's equally geared and willing to spend another $100 on Golden hammers to run the content itself.

EXactly.. so the people who are good players should get the extra money for diamonds. Why should someone who can't even clear ToSh, which is an instance that came out 10 levels ago, be able to get some extra dias? You obviously don't need the diamonds, cause you're not using them correctly. I think it makes perfect sense. Reward the players that have put in the work to gear and clear the latest instances, not the players who can't clear a thing. The problem is, 95% of the game population cannot clear any content lv 67+, even with the current level 80 cap. If someone cannot clear TOSH, it does not mean they do not try just as hard clearing content that they are capable of. You assumed that people are not clearing endgame content because they are lazy, which is not always true. In the case where people are being lazy, then of course they do not deserve anything. But it should not be the fault of the player, if there are only sufficient players willing/able to run a less difficult instance which they think is the limit of their capabilities given the manpower available. (Of course, there is little point discussing this, since Mika has already stated that this would not be detrimental to someone's chances to win. THe original post led me to believe that people should run instance that are near their level - aka within 5-10 levels).EXactly.. so the people who are good players should get the extra money for diamonds. Doesn't it make sense to you that the people who "Spend 100$ on golden hammers" SHOULD be the ones getting the money rewards? Why would it be the level 80 who's never spent a dime and can only clear HoS?
