They could have had French Cuisine, British Culture, and American Technology.

cute MK, but not very accurate.

Actually if it wasn't for America, we wouldn't be stuck with French anything. The Quebec Act was a reaction to the unrest in the 13 colonies.

As far as cuisine, it's not overly British, no more so then "American" cuisine. Actually, many of our signature dishes come from Quebec, and are about as far from the ideal French cuisine as you can get. Putine + Beaver Tails anyone?

As far as technology goes, I'm not sure what constitutes French technology, but I can assure you ours is right up there with the rest of the G8.

With that said, we're at least capable of defending gold medal finishes for 5 years consecutively. US couldn't even handel 2 in a row.

In Canada, they bring a credit card machine over to your table and let you do the tipping and all that right on it. In America, your waiter or waitress has to take your credit card, then bring you back a receipt to write on with your credit card again, and it can take like FIVE MINUTES!!! Maybe French technology isn't so bad
