To the 1%

To all who have served, either at the same time I did, before I did, or since I have... thank you. You are my brothers and sisters, and I love you for being what you are.

Sometimes I think we don't do enough as a country to recognize our Veterans and troops. We have 1 day a year to officially recognize them. But I believe they deserve so much more. They sacrifice their lives for this country. They leave there family's behind, sometimes for a short time, sometimes forever. I always do my best to thank them for their service and I hope you all would do the same.

Thank you for your service.

Belated kudos and +1000...

Based on topic, I was worried it was about something else, but luckily it was not. Those are truly some of the best people.

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

I was thinking it was something else, as well.

Hat's off to all you vets.

One of the best quotes I've seen on this forum:

Quoted from "TheMann64;466692"

If you uniformly do the opposite of what people expect you to do, or what the norm is, aren't you indirectly conforming to their ideals, just backwards? Aren't you letting their opinions and ideas form your own?

Thanks guys. Anyone serving or who has served likes to hear a thank you every now and then. When you see someone wearing either a uniform or some clothing to designate they have served before, please just go up to them and let them know you are thankful for their sacrifices they made in their own lives so that everyone else can enjoy everything they missed out on themselves. It really means a lot to us (recently had a man and his child do this to me in a walmart, not gonna try to hide it, I teared up).
