"Red Eye", on FNC, 3:00 AM EST M-F, 2:00 EST Saturday (rerun of previous week's show). Very twisted, and an acquired taste.

Favorite joke news? Fox News. All of it.

As for comical/satirical news: Colbert Report, with The Daily Show following closely.

CBS Evening News you just have to laugh at the stories and the way they present them and their take on the news.

Agreed. The MSNBC morning crew were talking about internet access last week. Someone mentioned from a 'PC', and was immediately queried, "You STILL have a PC?". "Well no" was the reply, and they all went on to query everyone in the studio that morning. Not only did no one have a "PC" (aka Microsoft Windows) but most had some sort of Apple portable.

Now whenever MS partners are all using MS-competitor products.....

I bet some MS execs where wiping the coffee spittle off their tv/video screens that morning.

edit: for those not getting it... imagine a RoMcast where the Frogster reps talk about how they only playing WoW or GW2 or SWTOR.

You might be surprised at the number of Apple products that are used by talking heads and their masters at all of the networks, broadcast as well as cable. I'm not, but I'm also not all that pleased, either.

The fact that MSNBC is still in existence is a joke in itself. They can't even match CNN's ratings. They *might* be able to match or beat the ratings for Owl Gore's "network", but I wouldn't lay money on it.

BTW, I presume you're aware that after Keith Olbermann was fired from MSNBC for being an obnoxious dipwad, he signed on with Owl Gore, and apparently got permission to use the "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" name for his little show, and use virtually the entire format. Talk about "theft of IP", not that there's very much "intellectual" about Olbermann...

And, for the record, when Olbermann was tasked to cover the Iowa Republican primary, he flatly refused. Now there's an example of someone who hasn't learned to obey the people who sign his paychecks. The real joke here is that *they* didn't fire him on the spot.

He should go back to doing what he's actually *qualified* to do: Color commentator for middle-school basketball games.

Sliding into politics, eh? That is not likely to be flammable topic, not at all. :)

Midknight, it would likely have been better if the snark was left out of the original post and original poll. As it is, 2 of the 3 legitimate comedy news shows (Daily Show, Colbert and Onion) are already pretty significantly slanted politically.
-- Rustyx --- 92R / 92S / 92M on Reni (Guild KnightShift). Yes, running the new FOTM R/M, cause I am not elf enough to be WD/S.

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

Okay, then. Name a joke news show that has nothing to do with politics?

I wanna see Rachel Maddow vs. Glenn Beck on the Colbert Report in unarmed combat, judo or mud wrestling maybe... actually, forget mud wrestling. Rachel's like three feet tall and weighs probably 86 lbs. soaking wet. Glenn is... well, imagine an overlarge baby wearing a suit and tie. When I picture this, I see her winding up and then head-butting him... complete with "OOOOOF" comics-style say-bubble.

5 bucks says Glenn cries. He cries good.

THAT would make my top list of joke news shows. ;) Actually, I could cross something off my bucket list.

Come on, they could do it for charity! Save the tata's!

News is almost all politics, sure. Still, this was a stupidly cheap shot, downgrading midknight from "always being voice of reason" to "almost always". Meh...
