Meh... I wouldn't be surpriesed if I was banned for starting this topic haha lolz ^.^ This thread is becoming more intriguing by the second.

I'm pretty sure the GM's and Developers are doing something because they were shutting down servers at like 5 AM Eastern Time(USA) Not sure what the correct GMT that is lolz.

There was a message that said the server was going down in 5 minutes for maintenance and that buying gold will get you banned. 5 minutes later King started spamming world :( and the server is still up.

Well I guess I know why I am banned now after reading this. Rest assured I dont "buy" or have ever "bought from gold sellers. My passwords are complicated enough that if i dont pay attention I mess them up myself. I also have "never" shared my account with anyone so the only person that knows my passwords is me.

I do have to say if this happened at 3am I tried to log in around 4:30am and I am already banned at least they are moving very quickly. Hopefully this gets resolved quickly as well.

Govinda Server Hack

Quoted from "Karza;520020"

Lordtalon on govinda is now spamming in world.

This has gone on too far.
The denials from the CM's and GM's are putting the player base at risk.
Would a GM kindly get word to whomever it takes to stop this.
We need to know what is going on and how you plan on fixing this.
Now.

Unbelievable

Quoted from "TunaShake;519791"

That is the problem timthum,

They would never admit it as it is a bannable offense.

-TunaShake

No, that is not the problem.
You have on this very thread, along with other GM's and CM's repeatedly denied there is a problem, (and even if there was a problem which there is not...it's the player's fault). Are you kidding me? I've checked this thread; some of said posts have been deleted. Why is that? I've been copying and pasting all the while for the record. I have the entire thread intact and saved in a word document.
I know some of these players. They do not in any way, shape or form purchase gold.
You have some nerve accusing innocent players of commiting a bannable offense.
Knock it off and figure out who to contact to fix this.

I do want to point this out >.> the goal and objective of this thread was and by no other means, but to discuss the rumours on the hacks, to get everyone to know about them, and how people could prevent it from happening on their account. Not to spam it with reports and what not sadly I should have taken responsibility when I made it to post that I did not think it would be taken out so much lolz. No one could expect that however even with such a controversial topic. But seriously guys can we just get back to the discussion like why its happening and who ya'll think would be affected by it in the future and who has allready been affected. I think calling out people and forcing people to try and hijack posts and the thread in its whole entirety too far >.> So guys just chill lolz I am sure the GM's will fix it say at least another month. I know what it's like to be depended by others to make them secure(well not on the internet, but in overseas). So just relax mellow out and just wait for things to blow over 'Kay ^.~

P.S. Don't forget to take a Chill Pill and sip down some Sweet Tea or Lemonade in this Heat (:

In before this gets locked because it will be locked soon. Tin foil hat time... Could this be their way of shutting down the US servers. Think about it. The servers were hacked and corrupted and shut down of the servers was implimented. Then information lost and can not be restored and the financial loss from restoring all those game accounts would far outway the revenue generated according to the recent figures from item shop sales. Just going out on a limb here but would explain a lot of the recent tactics being used lately.

Silver I do not know of such, but that speculation is going a bit too far.... I doubt that Frogster would close down one of the most profitable servers for just some Europeans and Central Americans. USA is just too profitable even if the sales have gone down slightly or some. At any case if Frogster were to abandon say their customers in the USA, they might have a significantly higher chance of going out of business. In fact, why don't they also kiss the whole North American Continent goodbye to Canada and Mexico that only seems fair right? Regardless of how many CE or EU Customers there are just too many Americans that are whole-consumed by RoM. But Silver let's get back on topic because that is just a rumour and if that was the case well all I can say is start a Speculation Thread about that Topic, because that doesn't pertain to hacking in the slightest without Proof. You have Reason, but no proof, wait I did say.. oh well what the well down the pond >.> ya got me there amigo!

BUT UMM... Let's just not discuss that on this thread ^.^

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

>MY ENDGAME NOTES<

Before anyone does consider locking this thread... I know it hasn't exactly stayed on topic here, but I do think I can save it and get it back on track before it is too late, to be honest I don't think it is too late as most people think. I have faith and thats all I need to realize my goals. It is my job to administer what's acceptable to post pertaining the content as long as it is related to the main post(meaning my first post and any posts that were posted about such a topic). But in my eyes the true definition of such a person is to only Observe, not to Protect, but Alter to regain Positive Minds and Input, not to lose into Negativity and a Wandering Mind.

It's the job of such a person to lay the First Track on the Railroad and no more.

To Observe:
I will say, "Go on your merry way I have begun the path that lies before you it is your job to finish that path."

To Alter:
"It is my job to Alter that path if need be to get you on a new path that is More-Truer than the False Path that lies before you that you have taken all along."

To Direct and Admit:
"But it is never my choice nor power to decide which True path to take or how that Path shall End, but I shall always be there to Guide your Light."

This seems like a hacker that is using a SQL injection technique. I highly doubt that the person has anything to do with those sites and is merely out to ruin runes of magic. I highly doubt that any goldseller would hack into a high level account to advertise their site. These type of players are more prone to buy the gold then any other player in the game.

The other thing could be an old employee that either got fired or is really mad at the company. This happens a lot in companies and this one is no exception. That employee has access to the player database and therefor it would not look like the system got breached. Heck the employee could still be working there or still has access to log in to the system. This person is also attacking when no one is around to catch him and the person knows this because they can keep track of what is going on at frogster.

Silverjeff, i highly doubt a company would do that to get rid of people. Most businesses would just shut the servers down and be done with it. Besides, they would try to milk everything they can and if they was behind this issue, that would destroy them completely in the future. They would have to shut the doors on their own business, as that type of news would spread fast. Besides, you can not really point any fingers at anyone as you are probably not sure who is behind all of these issues.

In any case, I would like to know that my account is once again safe. Maybe coming up with a way to protect the accounts would be a great way. Like WoW and many other games having a authenticator setup. This would help eliminate these types of issues and ensure that it will be much harder to hack into someones account.
