Taking a little break...

I'm gonna be away for a while, been finding this other game I've been trying out a bit more entertaining for the time being. I'll be in and out every so often, but the state of things here have just been steadily declining and I've found myself letting out an audible *sigh* every time I sit down to log in. Oddly, it's not so much the price hikes in the item shop, or the number of hacked accounts, or the degrading population of indigo that finally pushed me over the line... but it was the golden eggs. One golden egg a day in a quest that takes +20min to do. One... yeah... I'm just not THAT into things to sit for half an hour, waiting for a walking chicken to go back to it's starting location before I can click another... it's just... it was an extreme eye opener to snap into a moment of clarity as I vegged out in the ranch when my brain turned on and said, "Just what the hell am I doing here?!"

So... best of luck for a while... like I said, I'll be back in and about every now and then, but... well, you know the drill by now...

me too moving to gw2. There is going to be an beta event next weekend. I am done with pve in this game but still play siege until gw2 release.

RL is cool and all, but the gameplay sucks, and all of the higher powers are corrupted. What game are ,you moving to OP?

The game has changed about as much as the complaints. If it took two minutes people would be complaining about nothing to do.The grass isn't greener over there. Those other games will last about one to two weeks. Come back anytime your always welcome.

But inspite of that, OP, you won't find a ROM replacement. There simply isn't a better game on the market, in my opinion. And oh have I tried since September. I've played F2Ps, subs, everything.. and yet, here I am, at the beginning of summer, trying to set up roots again.

Hopefully, though, the hosting company doesn't ruin the game. I'm genuinely scared about this.

I'm only still active because of stubborn friends and family that don't want to play other things, otherwise I'd be off till the update

I disagree, it's a matter of preference.

I've been playing another game on Steam off and on which I had over 1000 hours logged before I started getting bored. I paid more for the expansions and other things than I ever did in RoM -- I found good value in it. It's nice being able to swap gear between characters, change your name and restat for the whopping price of $0.00. Also, having a game with very few bugs, all of which are fixed quickly, along with frequent developer feedback is a plus.

I don't limit myself to one game :) there are way to many great games out there to only play one.

Enjoy your break, hope things improve here but i know with ch 5 coming out prices of item shop things just going to go up.

Can't wait to see how much the jewels for things above level 70 cost...

I played another game before I started playing RoM, and recently it has gone F2P and they just released a new expansion with a lot of solid content. I only quit because it was subscription based and I was getting banned for "inappropriate language" 75% of the time... so I just wasn't happy with paying to be banned. Anyways, it's a game with wings that actually work (since I can't say the name).
