Well, we all seen discussion about ABL, how hard is to sell/pass gear and how empty our AH is.

But all of that was not much relevant to me until last night. One of my lost forgotten alts had 1K shells, so I went to shell vendor to get my pulls. Selected as always what I will try to pull, and make 3 quick right clicks, hopping one will be good stat and OD. (IIRC it was Wisdom Vanguard Robe that I pulled)

And this is what happened: first one good stat, 107 dura, second one good stat and 113 dura and last one 110 dura and again good stat.

So now what to do, can't sell it, can't move it to main who would be better to use it... in overall, sad situation...

lol happened to my guildie too, who pulled an OD piece that his main needed with good stat on his alt. If you don't need those pieces, you can always sell it. If he is able to get shells, then he has to be lv 50, and he should have gotten 4 puris by then. You could always find a trusted dias seller and have him send puris/ABL's to your alt.

And this is why I never make alts to do shells lol.

Yeah, I can see that... I still have an OD shell cloak with good stat that would sell well enough, I think, on my alt. I pulled 6 months ago. Was always thinking I would abl it someday and sell. I guess not easily.

Puries > abls, but still, I want my ABLs back, gosh darn it!

Well, one of stats got nice use on my main, while other 2 are waiting for ABL sale.

What was last price of ABLs and is it really worth ABL-in anything anymore in this game?

ABLin depends on what was pulled.

At 70, shell cloaks were arguably the best cloaks in the game. Maybe not the best for all classes, since GCH and VN drop really good ones, but nearly the best and far far more accessible. It was always worth it to ABL a good cloak and sell it.

At 72, I am not sure shell gear is worth it as much. Problem is that it comes with no patt or matt, and at 72, making gear with so-so ghost stats is not as appealing. So, I would track the sales before using ABL on something that people might not want to buy; or perhaps spam troll channels (aka trade and Trade) with "WTS [ITEM], my ABL"

The ABLs were 99 dias. Last sale we had was for less, but I am not sure if it was a low price or discount. Contrary to what most forum trolls tell you, Frogs has lowered the prices on quite a few IS items. We had a few sales with "new lower regular price" theme. I don't recall if ABLs were part of such or not.
