Runes of Magic US / AU

We take our warning FROM the EU posts. If they get a dia sale we usually do too. But I agree.. would be nice to have an actual post on the US for those that don't troll, I mean read, the EU forums/website.

Just today/(ok, "yesterday" in my timezone, its almost over for 3h now...) EU sale was from 6pm->11:59pm , and it was announced at like ... 6pm:xx (xx <10). And it did not even work correctly from the beginning, there are facebook reports of the diamond page showing only +50% instead of the announced +100%.
Which warning are you talking about exactly? (@OP)

Yeah, gotta agree there. When you go to http://www.runesofmagic.com/us to look at the news that is perfectly fine. But they think we will go to http://www.runesofmagic.com/en to look at things coming up??! That is crazy. I donna wanna do that.

Why wouldn't they want to warn us? People know that sales occur somewhat regularly, and virtually all people I know wait for Dias sales to buy some, ergo this tells me that they can make some quick revenue during the sales.

There should be notice of a diamond sale that lasts as long as the diamond sale i.e. if the sale is from 6pm - midnight, the notice should last from noon - 6pm.

We get no diamond sales, people complain. We DO get a diamond sale and people STILL complain.. Seems like it's impossible to please people now a days.

There was a lot of warning in game though. I was getting the announcement band saying double dias like every 5 mins.

Those of us that bring up this issue are not in the game when this happens and cannot be on Rom.com every hour checking to recharge an account.

I have a love/hate for these flash diamond sales. I miss the 100% weekend sales that they used to do because it usually gave me time to get to the store. I remember going months without a dia sale a couple of years ago. It seems like the flash sales tend to happen more frequently than the weekend sales did, so missing one dia sale isn't the end of the world. They will have another sale. And if you've been in this game any significant amount of time you'll realize if you want information you HAVE to check the EU. Was that way when Frogster was in charge...nothing has changed.

I think this warning you think the EU servers get is a misunderstanding. US and EU usually have the same starting time for certain sales and offers, but locally. So if EU has a sale at 6 pm CEST and the news for the sale goes live for them at 6 pm CEST, of course due to the fact that EU is (from my location) 7h ahead of US, I see their news 7h ahead from when the sale starts for us in the US

So the advantage is not on the EU side but on your side:
IF US has similar or same sales starting at their time, lets stay with 6pm PDT for the example, and EU has a similar sale going live at 6pm CEST, you will see what you might get with a headsup warning, not EU.

But i gladly forward that you would like these news to show up sooner and not right on start of the sale.
