excuse my to what some would call rants over the past week in regards to my little devil's wings going missing. I have found them. I placed them in the wardrobe section during the clothing festival and forgot where i put them. Heck, i forgot you could put wings in there. I apologize for pointing the finger at anyone as it was my mistake.
I'm glad that they do this. I experimented with my main wings mighty phoenix and came up with six xiv stats and was waiting to buy a standard aggregator to fuse them with the ones i have now.
I'm going to give you a heads-up and a piece of advice: Any gear item, including wings or costume pieces, that are put into the Magic Wardrobe (MW) are stuck there forever and cannot be removed except by deleting them. Any gear piece, costume, or set of wings that are statted and placed in the MW will lose the values of its attributes and any stats placed on it. The MW is essentially a big costume closet that can be used to store (hopefully) attractive items that you'd like to visually share with others without actually
wearing them.
As RoMage has said, putting stats on a set of wings too early in your toon's career can be a waste. Wings are relatively expensive--either diamonds, rubies, or Phirius Tokens are spent to acquire them. And then, you're either spending gold to buy mana stones from the Auction House or from another player, then using the Arcane Transmutor to put the stats on the wings. (The description on the wings regarding an aggregator is wrong, and has been wrong for 3+ years. Ignore it.)
My advice is to wait, not only to get a set of wings but also to put stats on them. Play your character until at least level 55, join a guild and
ask your guild members for help and advice on statting--especially the best stats for your character's class combination--and
then you will have some idea on what you'll want to do.
