Possibly the thing that ticks me off most about my return was being called a deserter on my main. this angers me because I have money invested in my main I have two mounts for my main I had house energy on my main, now all that is gone right down the tubes because someone didn't bother asking why I didn't make the "must attend" guild meeting that I had told him was the same day as my grandfathers funeral and had to be scheduled or me given an excuse form it.
Excuse me for putting my family first now To FIX THIS I need to change my characters looks, Name, and start form level 1 again to hide her. might be better if I could trade everything to a new main but SOL.
I wonder how many people know a deserter is someone who leaves a dungeon party in the middle of a boss fight, something I never do unless I crash. This jerk unofficially screwed me over and worst off is I don't have the time or money to get a new points card right now.
I don't think this guy understands I can get a new Diamonds card I can't get a new grandpa.
I should add I never been trough a dungeon properly so I didn't get to see any but one dungeon boss and I never left that fight I was told to stay back and watch by someone that got kicked form the guild a week earlier.
Still now no one wanted to Dungeon with my main after that.

infamy is a tough burden to shoulder...just gotta say, tho, i've deserted more than once, and nobody even blinks at me...

LUCKY..... I might as well just use her to farm goods for now I suppose since she already has the mounts they are good mounts too not the best but its gonna be another stall in my plain I was hoping to spend my next card completely on my player home get a new look a larger area to work with. Not all my suggestions are for me thou i wish people would understand that I sometimes suggest thing to get people talking about the option. in the end i could care less where the suggestions I make wind up, but I do suggest free first when I notice free players being deprived in a since all this "Can't be Sold" is bad for the server economy.

If I was a troll, I would ask "who are you talking to?" or say, really, "why would anyone not involved care?"
I'm not actually a troll, so instead I'll just ask the obvious question: does this really qualify as a post that pertains to the general interest of the RoM population? That's kind of an unfair question to ask, in all honesty, as a lot of posts on the RoM forums don't, so it's not unusual in and of itself. And this is the "offtopic" forum, but no one really wants to hear about how much fun it is to gaze at your navel, even if it is offtopic.
I have to admit I feel a little snarky and mean tonight, but really, someone has to say it, and at least I'll try and be nice:
Making three or four threads about basically nothing while talking like we all know who you are (we don't) or that we care (we don't), just kinda makes people not want to listen. And it seems like you might actually have things to contribute, so it would be strategically wise to not alienate the forum goers.
Most of us aren't as nice or as tolerant as Cike.
Besides, if you want to go with wall of text, you need to tell a story and hook people's interest first. Or have a viewpoint and make it relevant to people. Or something. If you can do that, people will want to read and they might just care about what you have to say, too.

It all depends on navel, Fan. Some of them I don't want to gaze at, some of them are OK, and some I would pay a few money to get a good look at.
It all depends on person. There are people can come in and discuss personal issues or game issues in a way that makes you want to read about them, comment on topic, help them if you can or offer moral support if you can't. And then there are others that from the first sentence you start to dislike the person, and as you read, that dislike grows to overwhelming desire to slap them upside the head. Repeatedly, and if you have a mackerel handy, then using the fish. I shall leave it to the gentle reader to decide which is a more likely scenario here.

@Cike and Wiffo-
I was meaner than usual in that post I think, more direct and less, ummm... well, I was gonna say "less tactful than I am wont to be" but, no I think maybe too many years of being on the forum has just made me mean and tactless.
And I have done my share of navel-gazing on the forum.
Technically I may be doing it now.
What I wanted to impress on the original poster is that the forumgoers in general will tolerate that so long as we get to know you and start to give a crap first. Starting your forum career by never adding anything to the current conversation and then only starting topics and talking like you already have an audience is... kinda disrespectful.
Instead of engaging, people just hit the back button and you don't get anywhere.
And your playstyle is irrelevant Cike, as long as you speak from the heart and have an honest and engaging point of view, which you do. You make us all want to respect people who play their own game their way because the way you carry yourself makes us want to respect you even if we don't play the same way.
I don't react negatively to the OP because s/he is a free to play non-endgamer, I react negatively to him/her because their attitude is one of entitlement. If they could state the exact same viewpoint in a way that did not ASSUME that the reader is either already interested or already a jerk because they disagree, people might be more willing to listen.
Make like the Enterprise and engage, honey.

I don't mind if people go off posting their lives/stories in the forums. I guess our forums are just soooo populated we don't have room for that lol
well OP welcome back and it sounds like you should just forget your old guild and find some better people

tbh, i'm like 90% f2p, and i have never had anything but fun playing...i farm stuff, sell rare stuff, get gold, buy dias, buy IS items....sure i'm not wearing the best gear, nor am i endgame, but i have fun, and to me that's all that really matters...
also, when events are giving out free IS items(jewels, DQT...etc, etc...) take FULL advantage of it, i mean full...i get a ton of IS items from holidays on alts, and with stuff like jewels, i just pass an item around alts plussing it with the various jewels i collect...also, the phirius shop is better than it used to be for a f2p player...

Back to OP's post though... If your guild is not tolerant, maybe its time to find a new one.
And @ nobody running dungeons with you after you came back, its most likely because of 3 reasons and not because the whole server hates you:
1) Current instance drops are just crap
2) Lack of people to run anything, due to current pop. and lack of motivation due to #1
3) PuG's are extinct now, instance runs are guild runs only now pretty much. And if your guild dislikes you, well...
And Fanny, don't be so mean. Or you'll be known as fannymeanie by all the new forum posters :p
While I agree that OP;s post needed a point (What is the purpose of your thread? Do you want us to give you support, do you want us to give you solutions for finding instance runs again?).
In that case it would have ended better had it been posted as a question asking for people to support him/her rather than exposing all the personal issues as if saying "you guys are all involved too" (which should have been said the OP's guildies instead of the evil forum crowd), and leaving us confused about what you want us to do about it.
I disagree that OP should have needed a 'story", or to even be a known forum poster in order to get any support or to make people care.

There in lies the problem I am a contracted comic artist I am not going to be very active during con season (Something my old guild knew) and if there is a family emergency forget me being on ROM (I have quite literally logged out in the middle of a battle on my alt to answer a call form my father about an issue.)
What I need in a guild is someone that understands I HAVE A LIFE and I DON'T LIKE PVP
