That's the problem with most people, they try to find complexity in simple things. Imagine you're inputing these on a calculator and see results coming.
2+2=4*2=8-2=3/0=0+2=2

First, don't add parenthesis when there are none. I didn't put them in for a reason.

Second, there is no division by zero in the original equation

Thirdly...

Both multiplication and division have exactly the same weight. Just because in the acronym PEMDAS M comes before D doesn't mean it outweighs it. Meaning, it is not multiplication AND THEN division, it is actually multiplication OR division, whichever comes first in the line (same applies to subtraction and addition). When you find the two in an equation, you go left to right. They are of the same value, so you are needing to try again until you get the right answer.

(A couple of you have the right answer already, good job guys!)

Anything to the 0th power is 1
and the parens were added to clarify the priority, they are assumed when you do not put them.
