goodbye thread offtopic removal

At this rate, I wonder if anybody will be left by the time ThePit gets everything fixed...
With only a minority of the population actually using the forums, it brings up the question of how many other legit players playing/paying fairly are banned permanently for a reason they didn't know existed.

Really good question ruisen.

To me, it would be much easier for them to 'handle' the game if all paying customers left the game... :) (look at positive side) and vfwiffo will have server for himself... and Zidlef. :) (they both anyway now make 80% of server population with all alts... :))

@Gigi - he forgot what account he was replying with... :D (I love conspiracy... :) )

There's one my thing I'd wanted to mention: Doesn't support only look into people that have been reported? I doubt support would go through database and check out what every single player is doing, just to find and ban the people using multi-accounts.

If that's true, then there's only 1 conclusion to be drawn: Someone who knows you well enough to know your 2 accounts wanted you banned, just like someone wanted the other Govindian banned.

Holy crap Tien's pissed enough to actually post on the forums. This is some serious shit.

And honestly this has got to be the stupidest thing i've ever heard of. I bet you 90% of the population of the servers have accountshared at one point or are account sharing now. Is Gameforge going to ban everyone who's doing it? Cause I guarantee you tons of people could name you several players on every server that are doing it. Everyones done it since the beginning of the game.

Out of everything that needs to be a bannable offense, and all the people that need to be banned for *actual* reasons, THIS is what you choose to ban someone for? Babz was an honest player, and a good person. Basically everything Fan said, +1000. She should never have been banned. Who cares if she was playing around on a friends toon who had given her permission?

One step forward and two steps back Gameforge, as usual. I start to actually believe that you care about the community and then you people go and pull something as stupid as this.

Good luck people of RoM. Our time is coming. Soon there won't be anyone left to play the game.

Bring someone that works support on the forum, I have a few carefully selected adjectives and verbs for them.
Also mods, stop being a footrest and sweeping these threads under the otd rug if you want to help the game, you might actually get some respect from players if you brought issues that matter to the fore front, just change the thread title. So instead of 20 pages of [heavy insults removed] talking about combo throw we can ask why are friends are perma banned no warning, no evidence, nothing [heavy insults removed]

This thread has run its course by now if you can't keep it civil even for a single day.
None of you has any idea what actually happened between the support and the suspended users yet you all claim like you have the full information and insight support has.

I've promised that I will be blunt at times, so this is how it goes:

Everybody with 2 brain cells can come into the forums and make up a story within 10 minutes about how they got banned for nothing.
Everybody with 0 functional brain cells will jump on any good story and simply start bashing either us Mods, the Support or GF per se.
Just because someone said "I didnt do anything wrong QQ" a lot of people come and complain "unban <NAME> NOW".

This and how this thread ended up is exactly why there is not supposed to be discussion of bans in the forum.
You don't know what happened between the Support and the user, regardless what the user tells you in person or in the forums.
We don't know it either. And we can't help you with it either simply because we are not Support.
I'm happy with trying to give some assistance whern there are problems communicating with Support at all, but noone of us Mods has any influence on the outcome of Support decisions. That is between the user and support.
