My name is Rico Drake. I am a gamer and a professor at
Central Michigan University. I am conducting a study about how personality
characteristics, emotional discomfort, and game play behaviors may contribute
to problematic consequences of gaming. I am looking for participants to take my

While there are no direct benefits to you for participating in the study your
participation has the potential to help researchers, counselors, and game
developers understand how players perceive their behavior. Although I can’t
reward you directly for participating in the study each person that starts the
survey will get the opportunity to vote for a charity to receive a small (50
dollar) donation. Following data collection I will make a donation to the top
two charities that you vote on for a total of one hundred dollars donated.
