ok. this thread goes in the wrong direction. lets make it clear.
a useless skill is a skill that follows the criteria below:
1) is not worth a place in none of your 4 actionbars
2) is not worth even the 5 TP to get it from lvl-1 to lvl-2
if YOU dont use a skill "frequently" or isnt "dat" usefull as u like or doesnt do "dat" much dmg as u want, u shouldnt post it in this thread.
I mean, i ve seen the r/wd bloodthirsty blade and emotional obstruction in the list!! lets get serious!
Knowdedge acquisition IS a useless skill approved by the whole warlock community. 4-psi for a minor focus regeneration is a disaster. if u use it, then u shouldnt play warlock at all..
I literally do not have points in those r/wd skills and they are not on my hot bar, so it matches your description.
emotional obstruction: in pve, there is no place for 50% damage reduction, just burn the boss. In pvp, using a 50% damage reduction skill still runs the risk that a mage could kill me, using sneak attack and burning them makes more sense.
blood thirsty blade: 3% mana is too much mana drain. even using swiftthinking pots, mana herbs, magic fruit pie, and embrace of the muse, managing a %mana based rotation with blood thirsty blade is too difficult. If you mana drain in a boss fight, your dps tanks quickly. The only skilsl you should be using in a boss fight for r/wd are power of the wood spirit (for buff), shadow stab, lowblow, wound attack, throw, weak point strike, maybe combo throw, and charged chop. You can open with pantom blade if you want, it has a 2 min cd so even though it has a %mana cost you cant mana drain yourself with it. It just dosent seem like the oak walkers do any significant damage. Blood thirsty blade is useless though. It drains too fast for too little damage.
and if you're complaining just because i am a rogue who says i have a couple of useless skills, sorry, but i have a couple of useless skills even if my other ones are quite good.
