I have a different opinion on the individual responsibility of each player, and, either way, right or wrong, it will not make a difference. The goal of anyone playing should be to have fun within the rules. In achieving this goal, you should have a secondary goal of not hindering the fun of others. It's this secondary goal which in many ways is not practiced, is overlooked, or simply seems to be the opposite of some who play the game. That's my opinion. :) The within the rules part for primary goal has routinely been violated also.

Group sales were a method to share gold equally between everyone involved/contributing instead of letting RNG decide. You're always preaching on and on about taking care of guildies, that is what it's all about.

Not sure why everyone says the "economy" is so bad right now. Back when gold was bought/duped/etc prices went sky high which hurts low/midgame people the most. Gear and stats are the cheapest I've seen in a long time. I've said it a million times but I guess I gotta say it again.

It's the price of the item shop that is killing the game.

lol at this thread. Everyone has a slightly different gaming experience which makes every single pro/con in this thread subjective - i.e. there is no right or wrong statements being made here, just opinions shaped by personal experiences and expectations.

So in short, you are not right, he/she is not wrong - everyone is simply expressing their opinion. Perhaps a bit less time trying to prove who is right and who is wrong might actually yield some insight into the state of the game.

I suspect that if disagreeing with an opinion is now outlawed, then we might as well shut down the forums except for fact based questions which have fact based answers, or news and announcements from GF/RW. :)

Lol Zid, I don't need to pat myself on the back or list all I have done for our server (Govinda) but thank you for sharing your accomplishments.
The community is 50% responsible for the low population, when can someone get on a run to get set skills? get quests done in hardmode? etc that would be endgamers guild responsability to help with that, Gameforge has nothing to do with this. Disturbed with friends in other guilds have helped people to get the 65/70 set skills for a lot people on Reni. We are not endgame but we do it the community as a whole and better the server, some just don't get that and it's all about : What do i gain to do this?

Well to those who were aware of gold buying, duping etc, it is the players/community to let Gameforge know about it and get them out of the game for good, we did on Reni as soon as we knew, didn't take a month for us to let the GM's know. But i agree people who participated in gold buying/duping etc should have been permaban, not get 30 day slap on the wrist and lame excuses to get out of the ban. We have a fully upgrade castle/skin and building VII and up, all legit and a lot of hardwork to get it and we are very proud to have it since it was done cleanly

It is the players responsability to let other players know about how to get the most out of the events, we did on Reni. I use my own megaphones to world shout events, XP/TP weekends/diamonds sales etc as many others also do on Reni. I put my 18 alts for the fairytale festival for people to get their titles everyday, TO HELP OTHERS!!!!! I farm EOJ'S 6/8 hours a day when i can and mainly give the stats away to guildies and friends in other guilds. BTW got 5 bad EOJ pulls out of 105 pulls, i say it's pretty decent. And why should F2P get more incentive then other players? then i want an incentive for diamond buyers to get 20 poms/per 100$ spend when purchased, i'd be good with that since i support keeping the servers paid for.

Agreed, all we can do is base our opinions on our personal experience. ;)

:gamer: Okay guys and gals time for some perspective. I have just started to play this game, and I am admittedly hooked. I love the fact that the character can have three different classes to play with. Sometimes I think that is a bit much, but the choice of whether to play two or three is completely mine. I love the fact that you can plant stuff in your house, and then harvest them instead of going searching for the different types of resources. I just found out different plants will give me wood, ore, and herbs. I love it!! Yes, the diamonds bit is a little frustrating, but I just tend to put a couple dollars aside in my Paypal a month, maybe $5, and get little things. This is my choice. I also like the fact that you can earn a form of currency by spending the diamonds. To me this is a bonus, and I do spend the rubies. I just got a little death pet, and then learned you cannot do what you do with a regular pet. But that is okay. We live, we learn.
This is a game folks. Just a game. If you don't like it then don't play it. I for one am in love with this game, and look forward to the server merge to see what sort of surprises that will bring. Good or bad. So smile, life is worthwhile ... If you let it. Stuff happens. Let's just have some fun.

Rom is still an amazingly fun game :D but there are issues that it needs to address.

No, I don't know everything. I just use my knowledge to form educated guesses
And I listen when others say I am wrong in order to learn.
