Background: Forstieroth grew up living with only her father, who was a travelling bard. Although she's been raised by an expert storyteller, Forstieroth will forever remain indifferent to the stories of the past. She only cares about the here and now. When she was young, Forest would often wander away from her father and pickpocket anything she could find. Needless to say, that was something she never grew tired of.

Background:
Cymbaline is artistic and introverted, with a strong leaning toward the “dark side.” She is mischievious and often comes off as being quite sadistic, as well as somewhat masochistic. She makes frequent use of specific psychoactive plants as a means to journey deep within the most terrifying pits of her mind, so that she may understand and learn to harness and control this power within her. As a result, she experiences visions and “nightmares” that would likely drive others to madness, on a daily basis – this is, however, just a part of the desired effect for her. She also claims to have been visited since childhood by numerous “entities” who claim to be both the direct product and source of her existence. She is strongly opposed to the religious beliefs of her people, opting instead to worship herself as a God.

Not to worry, though – she is a fun-loving demon child after all. “Wine, women (and men) and song!” would be her motto. And, although she remains either neutral or even hostile toward the general population, she is extremely affectionate toward those few whom she deems worthy. But will she ever find those few blessed individuals to aid her as traveling companions on her great quest for power and purpose? It will certainly be a much more difficult journey for her otherwise.

Background:Arrien - The Failed Mage - Arrien was once a young recruit for the Eye of Wisdom, if it for not his "jester" like attitude he aptly applied to his life and everything and everyone around him.

A "Free Spirit" you could call him, he like to make life fun and eventful, sometimes at the exspense of his mentors and masters. Due to his tom-foolery and shinanigans, he was ejected from the acadamy and sent into the cruel world of Taborea, where he vows to show the "Old Fossils" of the Eye of Wisdom that they were wromg to rid him... Thats if he doesn't get killed for his pranks and jokes!

OOC: Bravo for some players willing to get the RP started in a game and even start to congragate to a sever to cater to such things I loved all your Backgrounds and all have alot of promise, intrigue and excitement to see played out! (Looking forward for you background Kumu )

Im an old Rp'er from a while back and a little rusty so mind the crappy backround as it was on the fly and didn't put much thought into it (will replace with a much better one in time when i can develope a taste for the ingame world)

Background: Son of Kythe, the former Grand Blademaster of the Rauthundran Kingdom, and Larallia, the Valorian heroine, this halfbreed blossomed beneath the protection of both of his parents' patron deities, symbolizing Virtue and Valor. Unfortunately, while he commonly proved his valor in the field of battle, his arrogance and narcissism knew few bounds. He excelled in wielding his blade while dispelling the runes of his opponents within his runic dagger. His favored weapon, an ornate black-tempered sword which he calls "Nether", was forged on the other side of the Bufulda; home to the greatest crafters of his land. "Asgard," its twin, commonly rested in its sheath as proof that he rarely required the assistance of his mother's kind, the Valori, despite her wishes for him to wield it with honor.

He served as a Blademaster within the Rauthundran ranks 'til his grave; the site was a hopeless attempt to defend the Isle of the Great Rune from an inexplicable assault at the hands of bestial monstrosities who sought to take its power from the hands of the Virtuous. He died amongst friends, yet in contempt of his King.

He arose from the ashes as a Fylorian, a magma-filled, hulking mass of stone which served as a harbinger of vengeance conjoured by the mistress of death herself. She sought a champion, and he was the perfect fit. Under her guidance, he murdered his tyrannical King, and accidentally aided Alkeria's resistance movement along the way. His pact with the Mistress of Death was completed; he returned to the ashes.

And yet, he lives once more, in a land similar to the one he knew, but with no familiar faces, no similar names, not even his legendary blades to wield. He roams the land in search of answers, and also, in search of a new purpose.

Background: Always a tomboy, Meryl is, to put it nicely, a bit rough around the edges. Although she joined the city guard as soon as she was old enough, her laid back personality and lack of discipline made her a poor fit, and she soon moved on, drifting through a series of mercenary groups. Most recently, she's been working on opening her own tavern, although if she has the patience to deal with the business side of things is an open question. Meryl is a bit taller then average, and although not overly muscular, she keeps herself in good shape, although she's almost always got a bruise or two from her latest tavern brawl. Personality wise, she's laid back in the extreme, far to lazy for her own good, and seldom willing to take anything too seriously.

Background: Gosselin once aspired joining the Eye of Wisdom, however being the weak individual she was, she did not in fear of rejection. There was a period of depression when she was 20, all centering around the longed future she avoided. It ended when she was offered membership to a research group. She accepted, seeing a lot of promise in the leader. It was later known as the Ailics Fellowship (yay for actually reading the lore this time. ). She would go through many ups and downs during her early membership, but they would all easily be made obsolete due to the many friends she made. When the Ailic Fellowship gained acceptance amongst the people, her choice proved to be a wise one. She now travels Candara, in search of a new knowledge to research.

Background: A tomboy at heart, Ariost spends most of her time playing around in mines and the like. Background:

Job: A stoic guardian by profession, Lysander has sought employment from a variety of those whom require such a protective service--in particular, wizards and priests.

Personality: At his best, Lysander has the potential to be a calculating leader, and a calm, friendly soul, though such moments are rare. Typically speaking, he is indeed calm, though he has no motivation to lead (he must be coerced or encouraged to do so by a friend), preferring to guard those in need instead. He's usually also wry--especially if, for example, he faces the town fool in a conversation that he'd rather not be a part of. For this reason, he is quite selective of his circle of friends and those with whom he wishes to associate with. At his worst (say, if one of his friends is critically wronged by another, or if he is betrayed), he is vengeful, manipulative, and apathetic. Regardless, he is always loyal to those he befriends, and will guard with his life not only his employer, but his comrades as well.

General, Note-Form Information: Roughly thirty years old. Has a few gray hairs. Defensive fighting style, preferring to wait for his opponent to make an error and then capitalize. Aspires to see kingdoms, travel far, and experience the world.

Personality: Traits of a leader are shown both in and out of combat. Loyalty creates a sense of pride to his friends and guild (if in one). He is usually quite friendly to the average stranger, but is definitely not considered a push over or one to be pushed around. A controlled temper is a must, when leading or dealing with strangers, but when pushed to the edge, he can get quite nasty. He loves to meet new people, and looks for intelligence and loyalty above all other traits in his friends.

It is also rumored that she is rather adept in the skills of Herbalism and Alchemy... Despite that, very few people know her name, or have even shared a conversation with her...

Kelathos has always been a crafty person, even as a child he'd be sneaking around stabbing at things from behind. Though, his odd dissapearance in his childhood, he has returned and will not reveal to where he had gone for the many years of his life. He is now 18.

Background: Katsuko was born with a rare disease that made the bones in her body so brittle and fragile they could break with a single fall or strike. Told that she would never walk, she spent her childhood wasting away in her family's home living in a world of fantasy. This all changed in her teenage years when she met Master Tzung, a mage. He taught her much about runes and magic and other things about the world until one day he refused to teach her again until she got out of her chair and walked. True to his word, he did not return until Katsuki did walk in a fit of rage. Up until her twenty second year she studied under Master Tzung and became an independent and confident woman. Though she is still physically weak and fragile she doesn't let it stop her from leading the life of adventure she has always dreamed of.

I actually have two characters I roleplay with! With Aurelius being my primary.

IGN: Aurelius (Aurelius Reybrandt)

Backround: Aurelius is the second son of the Reybrandt noble family, and thus was not groomed as its heir, however he continues his pursuit of promoting the family name and has, with his adopted sister, Veronica Reybrandt, joined the Eye of Wisdom's Research team as an Inquirer. His self-training has enabled him some basic knowledge of spells to augument his natural talent with long-range techniques, making him a deadly opponent if taken at any length further than arms. Unfortunately, his close-combat skills are no where near on par.

Backround: Saeko Marikawa is the first daughter of a failing noble family in the eastern region of the world. She was forced into an arranged marriage with the Reybrandt's first son, who she refuses to name. The negativity between the two is obviously common, and, in order to ease the tension in the relationship, Aurelius took it upon himself to show the postive side of the family to Marikawa. What he did not expect, was that in the time they spent together, Saeko slowly fell in low with the younger son. Even now, the love triangle is extremely delicate, neither one of its members willing to move. For if Saeko were to advance her feelings on the younger son, she would have forsaken her own family.

Background:Born into the Order of Dark Glory, Veregan was disciplined and loyal to those who hired him. He had only one true friend, Stiles, who he grew up with. Together, they were an invincible two man army to be reckoned with, but apart, they still wreaked havoc. They had it all, respect, dignity, ranks, and money until one tragic day. They were both hired to do a job. Veregan was told he was to ambush a group headed through Aslan Valley. Stiles, however, was hired to guard them.
Veregan's team attacked when night fell. The two parties fought for what seemed like eternity only turned out to be a few hours. All was quiet when Veregan himself turned out to be the only survivor. He was seperating the group traveling and his soldiers into different piles. It was only when the first hint of sunlight did he see Stiles body amongst the dead. That was the day Veregan left the Order.
