I could see that, I noticed yesterday they have some great attack animations.

Yes, I agree. A mushroom. That's just what we need. A Swarm of Mushrooms that Talk and Attack you with Giant Balls of Fire. Lovely. I can just see it now. The Mushroom Mage/Rogue. Ah, yes...the lovely sound of the "Attack of the Mushrooms!!!"

Anyways, I do have to agree. I would like to have something different from other MMO's races. Some originality would be highly appreciated. So thank you for the Mushroom idea. However ridiculous (and somehow awesome) I may think it is, at least no one else (that I know of) has thought of playing a Mushroom. "So what do you do on your weekends?" "Oh, I go RP a giant Mushroom." I mean, can you imagine the ERP with that thing?

Avians all the way! No other mmo that I know of has Avians as a playable race. That would defiantly set us apart from the other mmos.

Dwarves!!

Ok, I was just being a smart alek and hadn't even read the previous posts. While I agree that it'd be cool to have a race really unique to mmo's, you have to be careful too. Werewolves come to mind. It'd be wicked cool to play a werewolf, but think about it, how do you keep what makes a werewolf cool, without making it way overpowered?
An avian race would look cool, but basically, it'd still just be an elf or human with feathers right? I doubt that RoM is gonna go through the trouble to allow flight. Besides, we already have the item shop wings. Same diff.
Vampires? See: Werewolves.
A feline race? Hmmm now that has possibilities. You could make them look like werewolf battle forms, yanno, upright, reverse-jointed legs, heavy upper bodies. Weapons could be claw extensions, or cestus (armored gloves, sometimes with spikes or blades). Instead of having hair color, you could have the choice of looking like a tiger, lion, leopard... like that. Yeah. That could be cool.

How about making the capra a race. They already have a starting zone and it would be a class unique to RoM, plus if they ever wanted to make an evil class they could always use the blackhorns.

Nice list I vote for Orcs I don't play WoW and have never played an MMO with them as a race.

Nice idea, would perfectly fit to RoM.

BUT (!)
We got:
Elves = elemental and good race
Human = balanced race, neither good nor evil

So there's just one thing missing. Something dark and evil.
I'd love some Wraith or Vampire race

i think a nordic style human class like a viking or barbarian would be nice or if they would allow everyone to use and wear everything available in the game good thing would be to allow mage classes to wear plate or chain and just give them a magical cast deficit like chain drops cast speed and/or accuracy down so much and chain less and leather even less same with warrior classes that arent able to wear plat slows there attack speed and crit chance plus movement speed drops that would be cool that and itroducing more weapons and weapon classes also allowing warriors to wield any weapon with deficits would be nice also races that would be cool would have to be ogres and animal classes but a biped that walks on two but runs on all four even could give them a "speed boost" when on all fours or a transformer (not robotic but human to animal)
