Madcat, not referring to you , lol! Never had the chance to run with ya.

Gotta say though, it would have been fun to merge Covenant with Ragnarok, but alas it didn't happen :(.

Lol good! :D
Actually I was in the process of chatting with Phrost regarding the merger, since I'm super picky on who gets to join and stay in Ragnarok they would normally be required to under go an attitude trial period, it's our way of making sure we keep those we like, but I knew most people in Covenant, merger didn't happen cause Phrost took a break from the game, and I left for FFXIV (which lasted only 1 week before I decided it wasn't for me), so when I came back Cov had already been broken up.

Well, you let Detritus in and he's still there.

This shows you are flexible and can appreciate his unique talents which go along his other features (and that cute tail).

The RoM client is only returning 100 sieges instead of the usual 120 tonight.

I can only assume that the GMs lowered the max number of sieges from 120 to 100 to help with siege war lag.

Its either that or the client isn't "seeing" every siege result.

At any rate, I ran the 100 siege results that were there.

My questions for those in the know:
Has the SW server been throttled back to just 200 guilds?
If so, will it stay that way?

as always, thx in advance

UPDATE:

Ok, the siege war result window is bugged. Dawntreaders sieged against Valkarie tonight and the result window doesn't even show the siege.

I've tried for the past 20 minutes to get the result window to show the missing 40 guilds with no success. The LUA script used to pull the siege data can only pull the info shown by the result window.

Just a heads up, there are 20 sieges missing from tonights siege record. (40 guilds)

Theblacktower (Artemis) vs Warwagon (Govinda)

We are both showing as inactive tonight and on Artemis we cannot register for Seige for the next night as all we can see is a black screen or just the results page from last nights seige.

While we Theblacktower lost to Warwagon we would like to at least set the record straight ) Ingame it shows our points as 1568 and Warwagon's as 2105.

PS.. posted this info on the seigewars site forums also.

Thank you for posting this. I'll have to enter your siege (and mine) manually sometime tomorrow.

The RoM client is still only reporting on 100 sieges.

The siege war servers seem to be purging the remaining 20. There is nothing I can do about this on my end.

Sooo frustrating....

Something fishy seems to be going on. I couldn't register us for siege tonight and when I looked at the list only Nocturne of the "big 3" is registered.

Next highest point guild had 4k, not a fight I'd be looking forward to.

our Gl had issues last night geting us registered. The data was only pulling 100 battles out again so something has gone horribly wrong with the SW servers.
If any GM/CM's happen across this and the issue isnt already know:
The standard (at least from what the rom community knows) 240 guilds can register for SW, enter and complete that days war but then are removed from the SW board after 8pm PST (when SW fully ends). From what I've seen on Reni many guild leaders are having difficulty registering for the next nights SW. sometimes re logging alleviates the issue other times it doesn't.

Has the limit on guilds been reduced from 240 to 200 or is what we are seeing a bug/issue with the SW engine/server its self?

At any rate this problem seems to be persisting and is effecting all realms (at first I thought it was yet again Reni freaking out) So to all the guilds being effected by this:
If you want your data recorded and you find that your guild is being effected Please take screen shots of your registered war PRIOR to the SW start time. Once you've completed your war please take a screen shot to document the outcome
It's likely that the SW servers are not recording points as its seems to not even log these fights in as occurring. Points likely wont change, but if you can prove to us that you did in fact fight on one of these nights that you've been listed as inactive because of this error we will update your rank listing on our site from inactive to SW down or Server down so that the inactive is not applied to you.

until this is fixed or we get some kind of update on whats going on from the powers that be we'll continue in this manner.

I noticed in /y last night on Reni that some guilds were reporting the no show of castles/towers of the opposing team when fighting a Govinda guild. This seems to be the same issue Reni had for 3-4 days about a week ago. Can any one else confirm this? Was it a server wide issue on Govinda last night (and I'll assume tonight if the problem isn't resolved prior to SW).
We did not fight a Govinda guild so I cant use that as conformation.

If this is the case we will take the same action that we took when Reni was down and list those battles as SW down or Server Down so that the battles are not counted towards either parties win/loss/tie ratio.

A note on another issue:

We are still waiting on a nod from Frogster about whats going on with the loss of 40 guilds when SW ends, it seems to be random who it happens too (DT and a few other guilds I know of were removed one night and showed up the next).

And while at first I thought the fights were going unaccounted as far as points and the internal game recorded they are in fact being recorded. points gained or lost are showing up when the guild re-registers.

This will slightly effect the accuracy of T50 until the issue is resolved on Frogsters end or we at T50 can figure out a way around it.

If you suspect you may be effected by this, and want to help us at T50 Please take a screen shot of your match up before the start of that nights war. and then a screen shot once your war has completed (so we know who won/lost) We can use this info in the event that your guild is removed from the list post war to help supplement the T50 data.

T50 is aware of the current issue with battles running past the hour timer for the night of 11/17/10
Because we take data after 8pm PST each night ( the standard stopping time for normal SW), this nights data will only reflect those that finished prior to us taking in the data.

We are looking into how we can effectively gather the rest of the information or make listings appropriate to the situation on the T50 site.

I guess the other guild on Govinda have not posted their issues with logging in to siege.

Ohh wait here are some links to the other parts of the forums that are talking about it

Can you somehow fix the sieges since then between Macabre and Wanted, he haven't sieged them since then as our siege last nearly 5 hours and we have both been unable to even sign up for siege since. The Macabre-wanted siege it shows on the screen is the results from the 17th.

Thank You

Do to the SW bug last week, Bloodysaints can not Siege and it constantly shows us in results mode with Sparta. Four straight losses for the price of one. Maybe just maybe, we will ACTUALLY be able to Siege sometime this year again.

We are looking into how we can go about compensating for the prolonged SW fights between those guilds effected by the past 1 hour long SW.

Is the in game board taking/giving points to those effected each day or is it simply holding you at the points for those matches and just locking you out of signing back up?

Points are staying the same, just has us locked out of signing up. Hopefully the maintenance tonight will fix it.
