Well, the honorable thing to do would be to run up one of the ramps and out of the castle through one of the portals in the castle wall.

Thank you, those ramps slipped my mind. I think that they were promptly killed anyway.

And thank you!

That's pretty much the plan. I'm currently working on a notes system that anyone can use. When you put notes up you'll have the option to keep them private or show them publicly. (within reason of course. I want to keep a clean site that is *mostly* kid friendly.)

All public siege war notes will go through me before the final "ok" for public view. I'll have certain criteria that must be met as well. Just putting, "They are a bunch of bleepety bleeping cheaters!!!111!" won't cut it.

Private siege notes are just that, private. i don't care what is placed in private ones.

I don't want to get too far ahead of myself because this is all still code that is being worked on. Just giving a glimpse of things to come.

Thanks again.

in all likelihood that team took down an outer gate, was working on the inner gate, and your team rebuild the outer gate. Happens a lot when attackers don't fortify the gates after they're breached.

Wasn't that, only two of us were in siege that night, I was the only one fighting, the other was killing balloons

First I must Thank Welshe for his support of what I was saying.
Now for those who think I was saying they merced: I on purpose did not name the names of known guilds that used mercs in the past. The ones who did it know who they are and are most likely now getting what they deserve as they fall down the ladder.
I do support Welshe's site and hope it can continue to evolve, but I wish that seige would get out of beta (don't we all?) so we can truly see which guilds deserve to be in the top rankings. When that happens then I will believe that there are no more mercs.
As far as using anything to warp through a gate or wall that should be concidered an exploit. I suggested a fix for that but apperently noone listened.
Wisdom comes to those who wait. So does Frogsters support. Never give up believing in the impossible, it may bite you in the "END".:D

I have had Guild mates, pop right through the walls of the castle and they weren't trying. So it does happen.

Question though, what is/should be the protocol if you do end up popping through the wall of the castle?

My thoughts on this, we have had it happen, that a Priest came through the walls, she announced herself, and asked for a quick death

I can't wait until the rankings are fixed and working properly. I have a feeling the top ten is going to be quite a different scenario and cracking the top twenty will probably become very hard.

How are the rankings broken? I'm just curious to what you are referring. If you mean the zero point problem, as I've stated before if your guild is serious about Siege, then you could easily reform and start over with 1000 points. Any guild capable of beating the top 10(especially the top 5) guilds on the list can easily powerlevel a guild castle.

And what about healing the gate?

What about shadowstepping up to someone who's on a ledge?

Perfect example of why this should be allowed: last night we fought a guild from Indigo, I think, Syndicate. To put it lightly, they were outnumbered. A lot.

Granted, lag helped them a little bit, but they had 4 very well-geared healers, (as well as a Rogue that shadowstepped into our castle and took the crystal- we were able to get it back in time).

Those 4 well-geared healers held us off the gate for the entire time. We broke through once, and then the lag hit, and when we got back, the gate was rebuilt.

What is the point of this? It simply drags the siege out to its full 60-min length because they're using what most of us would consider an exploit. If one of them had gotten close enough for me to Surprise Attack in, I would have used it.

If you heal the gate, don't whine about people getting inside any way they can.

 ....yeah. Not that serious about it. xD

Maybe it's just me but I'd feel weird being in another guild when we've been the same guild since the first few months of Reni server creation. And for what? Because siege rankings aren't working properly? No thanks. :)

I just think it will be interesting to see how the rankings look once all the zero bracket guilds are gone.

Well.... The RoM gods have seen fit to put my guild (currently rank 16) up again the TOP ranked guild on the list.

Everyone in my guild got a good laugh at least. Trust me, we have no illusions of winning this one. We play our !@#$% off just to stay in the 25 - 35 bracket.

At any rate, let me congratulate that top guild on a certain victory tonight.

I'll be timing you.

Well there are 2 types of shadow stepping one imo is fine the other is the reason it needs to be changed.

1. If you are fighting a guild and are just dominating them and easily control every single tower then no matter what you guys are going to win at that point unless you failed to hard to protect what you had taken. So shadowstepping just speeds up the process hell we have had guilds give up and tell us to shadowstep them so it could be over and we could go back to raiding.

2. The part that becomes a problem is the guilds that try to break into the castle at the beginning in order to cap the crystal or destroy buildings to cripple the guild. There are certain guilds that try this every single time and it is pretty retarded that we have to assign players to sit there and watch for guilds to come cheat.

IMO they should take out shadowstepping through the gate but still allow it if they are on the ledge in range though. (make it like there is a target in the way) Also they should remove healing gates other then through a special item that you have to buy that is like a slow repair that can only be used when not in combat and is channeled so it ends once you enter combat that way you can repair stuff after you push them away (assuming they also fix half time lag dcs) but you don't have priests out-healing 10 siege rams fully upgraded. x.x

:)

It was fun. Lately we've been taking the full hour unless asked to cap early by the other team. We've been spending our sieges trying out new tactics and set ups. Siege gets boring. . . Gotta mix it up a little.

It's been fun lately :)

We've had to fight 4 of the top 6 guilds in row, significantly outnumbered every match. Far from boring on this end. :D

22 to 18 is not significantly outnumbered.

You and your guild are the heaviest CSers I've ever seen. T8 chests and T6 everything else on everybody. Phoenix Redemption potions? Seriously?

I guess if you want to be the best, you have to spend the most.

You had more than 22 prior to the halftime crash, but that's irrelevant. We have a couple of guys that have T6 gear, and ONE GUY that makes 100k a year so he has a little money to spend on his hobbies, and T8'd a couple of chests, one of which he handed down to another mage. With elves dropping clean T4s theres no excuse NOT to have T6 gear if you expect to compete. And those same 2-3 guys used a phoenix at the first push. Know where we learned that one? Murkey-Impenatrable. From here, it sounds like sour grapes/excuses Warhead.

Sorry, I know with the recent Duping/T20 clean statting going on on Grimdal, it's probably easy to assume that anyone not in T4's is cheating. The best part was last night when Pandemic accused us of merc'ing. It was 37 to 24 at the time,24 being the most people we've ever had in guild siege. Seriously, I expected more than this crap from the so called top guilds in the US.

Why would they ban someone for spending real life money to make T8 gear?

T7 gear is common, Kexel just went one step further and he is the only one in our guild with such pieces of gear

Most of us are all in T5... I just started T6ing stuff myself.

So yeah.. everyone is evenly geared... it just takes skills and organization...

we normally dont run with more than 3 groups aka 18 ppl.. if we have more then its 4-5 alts.

This is a CS game... so expect ppl with money to use it wisely. Otherwise, have fun facing the dirt.
