Im nervous to fight Chimera .... lol

They are ripping through people faster then we have. Itll be a fun fight. :p

We didn't really rip through Ragnarok. It was an all out battle for sure. With 37(Rag) to 18(Chi) max player count, we had to hold roughly 2 groups with our 1 on each bridge. We lost herald at the halftime crash, and they waited till afterwards to get it. So it got pretty hairy towards the end trying to defend both towers in the center.

We are looking forward to fighting Impen for sure, but if it's 40+ to our usual 18-20, I don't see how we can overcome those kind of odds. The top 2(3?) guilds on Indigo hate each other with a passion, so long term recruiting and even short term merc'ing is nigh impossible on this server.

But on a lighter note, thanks to super ultra mega prolonged double exp week, my baby scout is now 60 and statted, so I might actually leave the warrior home and pew pew a bit tonight. :D

Sory we didn't put up a better fight the other night Chimera. We only had 5 or so people on so most of us did not even go to siege knowing you would heavily outnumber us. Even on our best night it would be tough for us to field more than 15 players. I think it would be a fun fight though if we could match your numbers. Maybe someday.

Oh yeah, Superbad is recruiting! Contact Xerise, Garbageday, or Rexxorr on Artemis for details.

Ah that would explain why everyone left siege after one fight =/ ... oh well... if u get 15 players then it will be an even fight... we normally don't have more than 16 playing characters!

We learned a lot from that last fight against Chimera. Tactics and organization will improve in the future, I have no doubt.

We recently absorbed a handful of folks from Avalon, which recently disbanded. As such, although our numbers are higher, we're still working on the cohesion thing. Not a problem, that will easily get fixed as we work together more and more.

Lag was atrocious last night, but we deserved to lose despite our numbers advantage. Trust me, that doesn't happen very often, and I hope it doesn't happen again.

I think that Chapter IV is going to be a great renaissance for Runes of Magic and for Frogster. There are many things planned for 2011 and I think our players will be very happy with things that are coming this year.

Honestly that last siege we played terrible compared to how we usually preform but yes it seems as when you get towards the top the number one factor of winning is organization and communication. So many zerg guilds I have seen in lower tiers just get crumbled by people with 1/3rd their members simply cause they got better communication.

We got caught sleepin tonight on Superbad. Took them too lightly because they are the only guild we actually outnumber in siege I think. Had healers afk for the first 20 min and Dictator on his rogue side, me on my new scout instead of warrior. Small, aggressive teamplay is what we saw, and I like it much more than zerg vs zerg warfare. Good stuff Superbad.

I was going to mini-rant about your scout/knight exploiting the shot cooldown all siege, but It's something we have to live with unfortunately. Just let him know this: We had FIVE scouts in siege tonight, all using Striker's and playing as fairly as scouts can play. However, I can assure him, we all own Great Dragon Fiend Bows, like the one he was insta-killing our tanks with, and we know how to use them too. It would be a very un-fun siege if we did.

To the rest of Superbad, good show.

I don't know about everyone else but, The first half was a nightmare, people teleporting, was it Clendy? A knight you guys got with a lot of HP, neways he looked like he was laying on the ground and sliding back and forth, I was standing next to people and yet I couldn't hit them, it took 3 crashes at halftime to make it semi-playable for me lol, at least that's the sort of stuff that appeared on my screen, oh and at 1 stage everyone including my character vanished,

The super lag was frustrating, really hope they fix lag issues properly and soon, games been out long enough, but ya It's always good fun playing against guilds that offer a challenge, can't wait for next time and hopefuly it won't be as laggy as last time.

Yeah. You were doing the same thing. People in vent screaming "KILL MADCAT HES STANDING RIGHT HERE!" and no one could hit you lol.

We all saw Creamy(Knight you were talking about), run into like 10 of you guys and wasnt dieing. We were like OMG this guy is insane! Now it all makes sense.

If we could just get smooth running battles against the other uberguilds (Impen, Chimera, Pandemic, Legacy), I would be very tempted not to bolt to FFXIV on launch, despite the other numerous problems plaguing the game.

BTW, yes we won against Pandemic tonight...Artemis crashed during the last 10 mins of siege, from what I'm told. Can't confirm, as I wasn't there.

We take no pride in victories handed to us by the server gods.

Just a note for those that do check the top 50 site:
The Updates for the nights scores over the next few days will be delayed.
Welshde (Typha) is dealing with things outside of game and will get each nights points up before the next days SW, rather than the night of.
This is why you wont see your most current score right away please understand why and know that the site will be updated and scores posted asap.
Thank you.

Typha's, your site has been a lot of fun for siege guilds. We were talking about this post today in guild and think you should make a Siege forum for us all to post in, where we can speak of bugs/hacks/tactics/flames with a little more freedom than on the RoM forums.

Sounds like you are pressed for time as it is, but it would be a great addition to a very nice site you already have.

Typha and I have talked about a forum for T50, in fact it was one of the first things brought up between us regarding the project (I'm currently hosting the site + moral support and pestering, that's my part in all this) and its something that eventually will come.

Space on the server/potential traffic wouldn't be an issue but right now it would just be he and I to moderate it. He has said that he would like to nail the primary functions of T50 (as well as work out some minor bugs) before we start up a forum and so currently that is where the forum issue stands.

As you could imagine things could get pretty heated in an un-moderated or minimally moderated forum.
