The New Face

I just checked out the RP forums for Runes of Magic and was pleased to find that there is actually RP on the game. I'm a Veteran RPer who's most commonly known for his bad guys... (Not all the time of course.) And I come from WoW, yes... WoW... *Makes gagging sound* Anyway, I did a lot of RP plots, events and other fun stuff. I'm looking for a Server and RP Guild to join and be part of! I'm not sure how active the community is still, but I thought I'd post, get back to me fellow RPers!

Hello there! It's good to see that more Roleplayers are joining. I come from WoW as well, I still play.. but, well I want a bit more variety. WoW is fun, but it's a bit boring to go by the same Lore for so long.
Anyway, I'm an experienced Roleplayer, having +5 years Forum-based, and about +2 or +3 in WoW.
I can't say when exactly I'll be legitimately joining the community, but I hope its soon.

Hey there!

Ahh! Nice to see the community hasn't died off, that's a very good sign! It's a rough ride trying to find RP on a free to play MMORPG, which is why I'm glad to have found Runes of Magic. Anyway, I also haven't really started a character... Been playing with the class combo's and stories to match, I have some idea's now but still iffy on the servers, I'm leaning towards Govinda, but I'll let this thread build a bit before I make a choice. Also, nice to see some more Veteran RPers! I look forward to seeing you in game Liadra!

Mhm. RoM is probably the only one I know of with a community at all. I have checked many, and there hasn't been any luck what-so-ever x.X
Anywho, I haven't been able to make one because the download was insanity.. until I gave it time.. >.>;

I don't mind rambling at all. xD As for the download, this one is freakin' massive... For anyone who has a slow internet It can take days, lol... As sad as that might sound. >.>; At least it gives you time to study some lore and work on character background/what class combo you want. xD Kinda thinking of going Mage/Rogue myself, for story wise I like the idea of Dark Magic... But we'll see! <.<;; Anyways, feel free to ramble, I honestly don't mind.

Hey. Really need a new breed of Rpers. As quite a number of Rpers have become inactive around last month.

If you choose Govinda. Immortal Covenant is an Rp guild that is always open. Can also join the OOC Rp channel. /join Rp to connect with some other Rpers.

That's good to hear ;u;. Most people don't like my rambling, lmao. ( It tends to become spam almost on WoW because of how long I make the messages sometimes D: ) I thought so too! I was like... 16 hours?! Really?! But after I gave it about 10 minutes, it shortened to 4. I just got the game downloading and it's patching right now n.n, and true that about the lore. While WoW downloaded the first time, I studied lore while it did so I wouldn't be a noob RPer... Oh old WoW lore.. how I miss you x.X. As for me, I'm leaning towards Knight/Priest. I've got a holy justicey-type character ^.^;; Typical.. But that and the thought of being a Knight( Or warrior) and a priest mixed sounds pretty incredible, just for overall gameplay experience.

Sorry I haven't posted until now, was a bit busy! Anyway, Reagen... I'll differently look you up in game and check out your guild, sounds like it would be fun! :) And Liadra, that is a very good combo and fun, having the ability to tank and heal at the same time is very awesome. xD I also was thinking of trying the Mage/Scout... Or Pyromancer in other words. (The Mage side of the combo is heavy focused on Fire) But we'll see, anyway... Keep posting my fellow RPers, I also hope to see you folks in game. :D

It's perfectly fine and understandable n.n! Oh its alot of fun :D. I'm loving it, haha. 13 Knight/ 5 priest at the moment. Right now I'm switch back into WoW, plan on getting RoM again later. Wanting to hit 16-17 before tomorrow.. And that sounds fun. =o I'm planning on having a scout later, but I'm not so sure what to mix it with.
Anyhow, if you end up going to Govinda, I'm Liandrà n.n. The special character you can do by doing alt 133 on your numeric keypad. Im really looking forward to seeing you C:

Bah, what a long week and weekend, hopefully I'll be able to get my character up and running sunday or monday! I also look forward to seeing you in game! It should be fun! :D Been so long since I've RPed, can't wait. :)
