Lost but still looking for a home

I am making this post because I see most posts are almost a month old or older (I have been known to over look somethings every once in a while, sorry if I do/did).

I am going to be starting this game tomorrow and I am a role-player coming from several MMOs ( Most notable: World of Warcraft, Dungeon & Dragons Online, Rift, Lord of the Rings Online). I am looking to find out which servers are the more role-play friendly/most popular servers for role-play to get a start. As I have found in the past greater numbers does not equal best outcome but when your starting its a little better. If anyone could help out by mentioning the more role-play active servers I would much appreciate it.

Like I said, I have been known to be blind so if there is an older post that has this info and you just redirect me; that will be just as good.

If I recall, I believe Govinda is the self-dubbed Role Play server
And then Keanu Reeves walks in, and he's all like 'Whoa', and we're all like 'Whoa, it's Keanu Reeves!'

I've been a part of the RP community on Govinda for a bit over 2 years now, and while it started out strong, there really is little left of it now. There are few people in the RP channel anymore, and though I'm sure there are a few little groups of RP'ers running about, I can't say for sure, as I've never seen them.
I hate to say it, but RP on Govinda is just about in the same state as RP on any other server. Maybe new life will be infused into the community, but I'm not holding my breath for it.

Govinda is still probably at least as good as any other server. I'm not much of an RPer myself, but I've run into and with some of them, and I see some of the RP guild tags once in a while. I've never actually played on other servers, so I'm just saying what I see. I don't know how others compare.
