Good RP Community?

I wanted to know, before joining, if the RP community here is pretty good? I've seen a few other games with a very, very small inactive population of RPers, or a non existence population.. and sooo.. yeah ^^;;
What would you say about the RP community in this game, overall or just on your own server?

EDIT::
Aaandd, what levels would you say would be the best to start up in? What I mean is.. I play WoW.. and I'd say 15 is a good level to choose to start RPing on a character, because you can start getting decent-looking gear .. ect.

At one time we had a pretty good community going as of now I think it's small. It's a shame because this game has great RP potential and some of my fondest memories are from RoM. My brother and I are currently playing around with Shin Megami Tensei IMAGINE and thinking about starting up an RP group. I'm the same as you I go where the RP because that's what makes these games worthwhile.

Ah, so there's not much of an RP community here anymore? If so.. that's a shame :/. Was wanting to try something a little different than WoW *-*

I remember co-conspiring a RP-oriented group out on Reni, and I still maintain contact with one of them but the rest seems to have faded away out of the blue. Sad to say the vast majority of the RoM community - even those of us that are roleplay fanatics - wind up having an extreme difficulty getting over just gearing to be practical. I'd love to say otherwise, but unfortunately the cold, hard truth strikes again.

Still though, as far as I've noticed Govinda has the highest RP population for the US servers. You might try there.

At Least it Works ...

In my opinion, roleplay would be the only thing in this game that doesn't break or have magically disappearing items. So, why don't more players get involved?

I guess getting back involved in the roleplay community would be okay, but like they said ... it's a very small group and, plus, I really didn't like the way they were roleplaying, to be frank and honest.

Hope you find someone, check Govinda would be my advice.

You could always try Lord of the Rings online. I know a lot of RP goes on at all times on the Landroval server. I myself have experienced it. If only all of us roleplayers could just set aside our differences and come together. Hey, what can I say I'm a dreamer.

Rp

Rolled my first toon on Govinda over a month ago since I saw a majority of RPers seemed to be from there according to older forum posts but I haven't seen any RP as yet. Keeping my eyes open though I feel that for an active RP community, going back to Moon Guard in WoW is my best option. I used to RP in Aion too back when it came out but the RP population died out almost entirely (down to 2 rp guilds there) which is sad because that game is gorgeous and fun. So MG is the only place I -know- has an actually thriving RP populace, though I have heard LotRO is friendly to RP.

Hope this helps but if you're looking for RP, you're either going to have to lead the revolution or go elsewhere. x)

That hurts to see bud. I'm sorry to have disappointed you. (>o.o)>
Then again, I always did have a taste for all things unconventional.

But, what can't be helped can't be helped. It's true; the roleplaying community of RoM is just about a lost cause. My whole little circle faded out on me, including my co-conspirator as demonstrated, well... right in the quote.

I still find a small group here and there, and despite how very little I actually manage to patch a group together I'm still usually down to give it a go.
