I am attempting to start a Zeevex trade business in the game where players are allowed to Buy or Sell Zeevex points using in game gold.

Intro
I am an auction house addict by day, night, and dreams. I enjoy buy low/sell high. It's what makes my hamster wheel turn. I want to jump into the Zeevex and create a stable market. My IGN is Metropolis. My alternate trade account is Dealsonwheels. You probably have heard from me at some point if you ever tried to sell on world chat.


Why?
I am in this for gold. That is it. I'm not here to provide an unneeded service. I'm not here to rip people off. I like money. If there wasn't gold in it, I wouldn't be doing it. I hoard gold. I see an opportunity for a new mutual beneficial addition to the server. A Zeevex:Gold trade market. My goal is 1 billion gold.

The current rate at which I am trading tokens is as follows (This is subject to change at any time):

I am buying Zeevex Tokens for 5,600 gold per 1 zeevex token.
I am selling Zeevex Tokens for 6,200 gold per 1 zeevex token.

The current minimum quantity of purchase is 250 zeevex tokens.


How it works?
If you want to buy or sell Zeevex Tokens for gold, at this time you can do it only via in game chat. The official channel is Zeevex. Just type in /j Zeevex in game and check to see if I'm around. Once you are in contact we will arrange a price and quantity to trade. Since there is the possibility that I will not have sufficient gold and/or zeevex tokens to make the trade, we may have to work out a lesser quantity. For more information check the section on the Zeevex Channel below.

If you are buying tokens, you must send in game gold before I gift you the zeevex tokens. If you are selling zeevex tokens you must gift the tokens before I send you the in game gold. This is manditory because I cannot possibly do good business if I have the potential of being scammed. Furthermore, I hope to establish a very large amount of trust with all players on the Govinda server. Having one person with enough trust will reduce the possibility of scamming occuring.

I assume you are able to accept and know how to gift zeevex tokens if you are going to trade. I will not be holding your hand through the process. I expect to come to an agreement and have the transaction occur. If you do not know how to send or receive zeevex tokens please go to their website and learn.


The "Zeevex" channel
Please feel free to join the Zeevex channel by typing /j Zeevex in chat. This is where all of my trades will occur. I will not trade via private messages. I also will not trade via mail, email, or other means at this time.

Anyone and everyone is welcome to join the channel to chat or even trade amongst yourselves. I fully invite players to buy/sell zeevex points with eachother in the channel. I'm more interested in increasing the volume of trade than anything right now.

I only ask that you be polite and not disrupt the channel.

Initial Zeevex:Gold exchange rate:
To get an initial price range, I've taken the Govinda "average diamond value" and attempted to convert the diamond value to Zeevex token value.

It is assumed that Zeevex tokens are always turned in during double diamond sales. It is also assumed that Zeevex tokens are used in packs of 4000. This results in 2000 diamonds for 4000 zeevex tokens. On top of that, I've made the assumption that every 5 diamonds spent yields one ruby. So the net result is 4000 zeevex tokens = 2000 diamonds + 400 rubies.

Using the above ratio of zeevex tokens, diamonds, and rubies, I'll set the average price of 11k per diamond and 4k per ruby. This gives us 4000*(GoldPerZeevexToken) = 2000*11k + 400*4k.

GoldPerZeevexToken = 5900.

As I am a business man, My profit margins will be 10%. So if the price is at 5900, I buy at 5900 - 5% and sell at 5900 + 5%. This means that every Zeevex Token that I trade (I buy and sell it) yields me 590 gold. Trading 10,000 will yield me 5,900,000 gold. Keep in mind to sell 10,000 zeevex tokens, I will have to have 59,000,000 gold invested into them.

According to the above, my initial trade prices are as follows (Rounded to nearest 100 for simplicity):

Buying Zeevex Tokens: 5600/per
Selling Zeevex Tokens: 6200/per

Of course these prices are subject to change based on supply and demand. If I have an extraordinary amount of zeevex tokens, I may drop the price. If I have trouble keeping tokens in stock I may raise the price. The price fluctuations will be me balancing the flow of zeevex tokens in and out of the market. It will be dictated by supply/demand.


The initial offerings
Since I am not able to conjure Zeevex tokens out of thin air and I'm a smart player, I am not going all in on this. To start, I will be investing a maximum of only 50 million gold into zeevex tokens at any time. Once the allotted funds are depleted I cannot buy more tokens. As I sell tokens and get my gold back into the funds I will then again buy more tokens. Obviously if I run out of tokens I cannot sell any more tokens either.

The reason for the 50 million gold limitation is that I don't want to jump too deep into a single investment. This is merely my way of "getting my feet wet"


Revenue, Profits, etc...
During the beginning of the development of this trade market, all profits will be reinvested directly back into the funds used to buy and sell zeevex tokens. My initial 50 million is already set aside and not to be spent on anything but zeevex tokens. If I gain 30 million in profits in the first double diamond weekend, there will be 80 million gold in my market.


What causes this not to work, and how I avoid it.
There is one major concern for maintaining a good quality zeevex/gold market. The zeevex tokens must remain untainted. Any tokens that are bought via gold must remain in the pool of zeevex tokens that are for sale. Suppose I decided to sell off a small set of the Zeevex tokens that I have bought for real money (This is known as RMT). This would cause zeevex tokens to inadvertantly rise in gold value. In order to ensure trust I will keep a tab on every single transaction I make with every single player. The names of the buyers/sellers, the quantity of tokens traded, and the agreed upon price will be tracked in this thread. Anyone will be able to audit this infromation and make sure I'm not RMT'ing.

The second concern is cross-server trade. At this time I have no immediate plans of setting up a Zeevex trade market on other ROM servers. I ensure you that all tokens that I buy form Govinda players will be sold only to Govinda players. If you would like to buy tokens with Govinda gold and attempt to sell those tokens on another ROM server, there is nothing I can do to prevent that. I can only assure you that I will not be attempting to "link" two different ROM economies by selling the same pool of zeevex tokens to both servers.

I also am going to require that all players who are trading zeevex tokens be level 50 or above for any significant amount of zeevex tokens to be bought/sold. I will make my best judgment when determining what "significant amount" means. The reason this is in place is to prevent gold-spammers from using me as a "gold laundering service". In markets like this, the gold spammers could buy zeevex tokens from me for gold, then sell the zeevex tokens back under another name. They will have lost some gold, yes, but the gold would then be 'clean' and nearly untraceable by GMs. This is not at all what I want to see happen.

I do not offer anonymity. If you buy from me, your name and the details of the transaction will be available to everyone. This is to protect you, not me.

When will I be around to buy and sell?
Between 7:00 PM and 11:59 PM EST during the week and various during the weekend.

I appreciate the free Hype. I did my homework and have thoroughly read all the GM/Forum moderator posts on Zeevex Token trade. So long as it is legal I'm happy to do what I'm doing. If the rules should change, and zeevex token trade should be deemed to be illiegal I will stop.

No I don't think this is necessary. This is a whole nother topic though. And if they do offer the ability to sell gold, I can and will meet or beat their price. I offer a service now for you to go out, buy a few zeevex cards, come in game, and instantly exchange them for gold. It matters not if its double diamonds or triple diamonds or deals are going on. I am enabling the this to occur - A player - A pawn - A nobody.

And for my services, I gain 600 gold for every zeevex token that is traded. A lot of the people (as you can see below) are just happy to get rid of the couple zeevex tokens rotting in their account.
