Who we are:
We are the definition of a small guild. We have no plans on siege-ing and no plans on building a big guild. Our guild was formed solely for a place for IRL friends to hang out and level together. We are guild level 6 and are working on gaining resources to build the castle. Most of us were farm bots (the legal kind) in our old games and for the size of our guild, the resources gained thus far are impressive, if I do say so myself.
Our experience:
We are long time MMO players (Runescape and WoW). Some of us were hard core raiders for years while others were more casual, but still top end players. The ex-WoW players in the guild were top world guild raiders with cutting edge raiding experience. The ex Runescape players in the guild were just crazy enough to get things such as woodcutting to 99.
Our personalities:
We are an older bunch who uses adult language as well as adult conversations. We are supporters of NORML. We use sarcasm like it's going out of style. We have an issue with people who don't use the correct form of "you're" and "they're".
What we don't like:
Kids. Annoying personalities who beg for gold and beg for help in guild chat. "Slower" people. People who cannot "take a joke". Censorship. We also have a strong distaste for those who claim to have a "good sense of humor" but tend to take every comment of others with complete seriousness.
Who would be interested in us:
You are intelligent, sarcastic, and a burnt out raider. You are tired of being in a huge guild and just want a quiet guild chat. You are tired of kids begging for help and asking stupid questions that google could solve in half the time it takes to type the question in guild chat. You just want to log on and be left alone, but still run around with a guild tag and when you feel like it, have some sort of "community" feeling.
Why are we looking for more members:
Finding people with similar interests in a new video game setting is always something great to do. We would also like a bit of extra help working on our guild castle as well as building it (though I'd like to put emphasis on the fact that this is not as important as our initial reason).
Extra things:
We are aware that a person who would be interested in joining a small guild (i.e. one that has maybe one person online at a time) is hard to come by. We would just like to put it out there that there is a guild for the minority.
