It's sad the reaction that people have had to this particular character. Not sad because of what people have said about him, but because how purely childish you all have acted. Don't try and act like you don't know what I'm talking about. You've taken a player who may do things you don't agree with, and thrown tantrums and called names like you're 2 years old. It's ridiculous and saddening that this is the reaction that has been caused, instead of acting like mature adults like I know some of you are and letting it go. He may have made some bad decisions, but you are showing your true colors by how you've acted in cause of this. You should rethink things the next time you call someone immature.

Edit: Don't go against the terms of service of the game if you don't want people who are passionate about it to get pissed off at you. There is a botter who is in Xaviera 24/7 and he pisses a lot of people off because he is going against the Terms of Service and nothing is being done about it. This person decided to do something about people breaking the ToS and all that people do is get pissed at him. Grow up.

You made good points but instead of fulfilling your initial desire to do this (to try and stop this) you have brought yourself into it. I don't advise it and I've seen "Mr.X" rant on our little "TheReniAlliance" channel and "Ms.X" (not related to Mr.X) and I managed to calm that down, but I do see that even in the lower level zones when he either provokes or you guys provoke him that you both argue (stop scaring the newbs ). This seems to be a singular guild against one person from what I've seen (correct me if I'm wrong) and it should be handled that way with a gm/cm dealing with it. I've seen in zone because "guild" who are quite influential being as the people in "guild" are long time respectable players and are very integrated into the server that people who don't even know the reasons for it try to take him down (not necessarily "guild's" fault but is a cause.

and tmblake09 I've heard from this person that he was pissed off at"guild" for being kicked so he was trying to get back at them. "Mr.X" is a lower level and people do not know him as well (not saying that I do) and he was very suspicious when I approached him. "Mr.X" said he wanted to talk with one of the higher ups in "guild" about it. I've whispered "youknowwhoyouareifyoupayattention" who was part of the whole thing from the start and this person told me that they approached him many times but that from what me thinks he wants to talk to someone that wasn't involved that was higher up in the first place.

Note: I do not know all details mind you as I am a 3rd party in all of this but this is what I've heard ;D

I will close this down now with a few words of advice to everyone on all servers, not aiming at this particular case:

- A player reporting you to our support does not get you banned just like that. A report leads to an investigation, and as long as no indications for TOS violations (be they willingly or by accident, I do explicitly NOT accuse anyone of anything) are found, no further actions are taken. A player falsely accusing you of something will not get you banned, but it will put you on our radar for possible misconduct and thus I advice to always follow our rules. IF you get temporarily suspended for investigation, please cooperate with our support. We do not like to ban players, it is always the last resort. Every possible misconduct will be investigated and you will always be able to communicate with support (calm and constructive) and solve the situation in both the players and the supports best interest, which is to keep you playing at best result.

- A community this large and with so many different people and attitudes playing, player disputes will happen and they do not necessarily need to turn nasty. Keep in mind that no matter what fighting goes on in open chats and no matter what a player throws at you, it is your reaction in open chat that will reflect back on yourself in the eyes of other players. Do not let yourself get provoked, do not feed the trolls. Respond calmly and try to solve the dispute in private chats or - if there is no way to settle this - use the ignore feature of the game and in case of rule violations report the offending player to our support and maintain peace in the chats. I know this is easier said then done, but fighting and insulting in the chats will only draw other players into your dispute, it can not be prevented and blow things out of proportion faster then you can say "Applepie".

It is not a sign of weakness to walk away from a fight, it is a sign of strength.

As for this particular case, as I was in contact with some of you involved, please take a deep breath and let it pass. Use the features I already mentioned and try to regain peace in your play. If the player continues to harass you, report him to support.
