It's a PvP server... PK happens

Ok... for the 5th day in a row, I've been whispered about my guildies pk'ing someone else's guildies and the person whispering is always trying to "keep the peace." Ok, that's great, I agree that it's not always fun when two guilds just go at it for months at a time stemming from one incident that happened a generation ago. However, to feel it's necessary to complain to the "higher ups" every time someone get's fragged is just going overboard with the situation.

It's a pvp server... that's player versus player. People are gonna PK each other cause that's one of the main reasons they decide to roll this server, rather than just another carebear PvE server. The element of danger and the ability to grief others is PART of things. I came up getting ganked in every zone I ever quested in, while dropping items to people that far outleveled and outgeared me, and now that that "threat" is no longer there, the only real grievance comes when you take off your own PK bubble. It lasts longer and longer each time you get killed consecutively up to PK protection III which will last for like 20min; so if you don't wish to participate in PvP, stop taking off your bubble!

I'm a little tired of how every person who gets into a fight, whether warranted or based from circumstance, needs to call in their "big brothers" to take care of their problem. Really, if you can't defeat your opponent, then get back to questing, leveling and getting your gear better. There's no need for every member of the guild to come to a fight simply because the opponents can't handle the situation themselves, and frankly, it's getting boring coming to save everybody. Sometimes I rather enjoy coming and cracking some skulls, but to have to drop what I'm doing 5 times a day just to pull another person's azz out the fire is just repetitive and annoying.

If you lose you lose, no big deal, swallow your pride, head home and lick your wounds. Return retribution another day. Complaining to your higher ups so they'll complain to me or my higher ups just makes things so political that it sullies the nature of pvp, and makes me feel dirty and sad at how far things have fallen in the nature of being "civil."

It's a PvP server... Pk's are gonna happen... learn to cope.

+1. i hear ya had similar situation yesterday. turns out the person i was trying to help in my guild pretty much earned a portion of his own greif, the other half, well, im gonna have to sort that out later. on a side note, a red attacked me today and dropped lootz, twice, then asked for it back. wtf.

ya i do agree that a lot of ppl should cope when they get pk'ed. but also i no alot of ppl where ppl who are hier lvl think they are cool and can just kill them while questing. which in turn makes it were hier lvl guildys must come and help and then when that happens it just makes guilds mad at eachother. the way i see it ppl should stick to pking ppl more in their skill range.
