Backstory:
This adventure began with two outcasts from very different families: an orderless Knight devoted to valor, honor and pride; and a banished noble lady from a wealthy and influential family. They happened to share the same campfire on a chilly night after a long day's travels. A less than pleasant introduction evolved into a lengthy talk of woes, worries and wishes for the future. By dawn, the two had joined forces in order to use society with the goals of fulfilling their own selfish needs, and thus making their wishes reality.
Upon their new journey, they encountered others who had fallen or been cast aside as each struggled to follow a dream. There was the priest who wished to dabble in both holy and arcane powers, and was deemed a heretic. Another wayward wanderer was the ranger who wished to balance the arts of the bow with the blades of a rogue, only to be mocked for his efforts. As this growing group continued to travel and offer their talents to those in need, they continued to observe the strife and agony of many. The combined efforts of each alliance, though, amply proved that there was no task they could not accomplish together.
Many months of hard work bore the fruits of success for each of these adventurers. When the time came for each to go his or her separate way, much had changed. The knight had acquired wealth and influence rivaling that of a lesser noble. The Lady who lost her fortune in order to study instead of marry was nearing the completion of her extensive training. This pair again spoke by a fireside, rejoicing in the assistance they had provided to others who were shunned or punished for being willful or daring to dream. They mused over how their personal ruin had also turned into triumph: both had achieved their own wealth, honor and respect. This knight and priest decided to start an order, a home for those who needed not be judged, but to be pushed to work harder to achieve their dreams. All who wished to follow this path would find sanctum within the doors, the home that would be this order or guild.
About us! (OOC)--
We are just a few friends looking for others to join us and enjoy the time one can spend with others. We wish to form a bond that a forged family can offer and provide friendly, enjoyable, quality RP to the server of Govinda. We will take all that wish to learn this often-forgotten art and others that far surpass the norm.
We also wish to PvE, so all you raiders are welcome as well. We ask that you do not grief the RPers or you will be removed without question after an investigation.
Our goals lie in having fun first, before progression. "If you are not having fun, then it is not worth playing." This is Asentrix's unofficial motto. Our first objective is to establish a fun environment. The second goal is to spread RP on this server like a group of locusts descends upon a ripe field of crops (Mua ha ha ha!). The third objective is guild raid progression. We want to give everyone what they dream and drool over...those wonderful, shiny epics others kill for!
