Increased Crashes in Regular Game and Siege War

Since the last program update, about 2 weeks ago, I have experienced a noticeable increase in crashes in all the usual maps, varanas, dalanis, etc. I also am crashing 5-15 times during each siege. This is similar to the way the game was last fall before I downloaded the slim client. Since downloading the slim client, I had suffered only the rare crash, but in the last 2 weeks, it's back to where it was last fall. Is anyone else experiencing similar issues on Osha?

Can't say that I have, Oz. I've always used the full client.

I have seen that completely restarting the client prior to siege tends to reduce the chance that I have crashing issues. Having said that, there *are* some nights when siege is somewhat less stable than on others. And there have also been days when having logged into the game, hopped to the guild castle for mount buff, then doing minigames and daily quests, I'll crash somewhere between one of the minis and the daily quests. It seems dependent on how many 'ports into and out of the instances and zones I do.

And then, most nights when I do a ton of DoD mem runs, no crashes or "falling forevers" happen. It's a puzzlement, but I think most peoples' mileage varies.

Yes. As an example, this morning I logged in real fast to an alt who was parked at the mailbox in central plaza varanas. I was able to open my mail, get the item I had bid on out, and then boom... client crash. I didnt even move an inch on the character, and had been connected less than two minutes.

ROM has always been crash happy... but it has increased in severity lately.

I have stress tested my vid card thinking maybe that was the problem. No problems with my vid card discovered so far. Tonight i crashed 8 times in siege. Any other thoughts would be welcomed.

Like most, I crash after snooping/porting a few times but I rarely crash in an average siege. What does cause siege crashes for me & most of my guildies is a lot of flame towers but I think that is a problem for many & most guilds tend not to place so many that it becomes a problem for both sides.

If I do start crashing in siege I find errorchecking & defragging my RoM drive usually brings the crashes back to the RoM norm.

Constant crashing in siege was the #1 reason I decided to stop RoM. I also had my account hacked when I tried to re-enter the game a few months ago after an8 month time out... but pwd reset didn't work. blah blah.

I mostly decided I didnt' care enough to get over the crashes. and I still had some diamonds left (I was a moderate cash shop player putting in ~$20 each month).

I'd love to check out Ch5 when it comes out (even though I'm still a lvl 64p/62m/56k so i probably couldn't even survive the mobs at lvl 70.

Any have a compelling reason for me to muscle through the crashes and get back on RoM (I'm not playing diablo so that isn't a reason)....

I was once stable as a rock, I'm crashing fairly regularly now - since the patch where I had to redownload/update DirectX.
