The problem with that is, as per a GMs explanation, the tech to merge is unavailable to Frogster. Runewaker is trying to sell it to them, however it is too costly and pointless for the few that are left.

As many BLATANTLY stated and flamed about in the forums and ingame to GMs, if they didnt do it, if they didnt listen to players back then (months ago), pvp and the rest of the game would go past the point of no return, namely, the point where population is so low and economy is so jacked that there is literally nothing to do short of giving everyone thousands of diamonds and offering huge rewards for players to return. I am just now starting to see PVE'ers complain about population on top of inflation, and you know what? sounds EXACTLY like grimdal, a year ago or so.

I am one of the last endgame healers on Grimdal. That narrows it down to what.. 2, 3 people? Everyone is leaving, and I dont care how many people come online or sit afk in guild chat, that is not the same as playing or doing something. No, minigames, dailies, farming anything less than gc em does not count as being productive xD

We can all hope and wish for a save, but there is pretty much absolutely NOTHING that can be done at this point. It seems clear to me that Frogster has already condemned themselves to that and as such are only doing what few things they can to keep the server online for as long as possible. About 4 months ago I gave Grimdal til the end of summer, if not til the end of 2012. I will be surprised if it outlasts that, but will probably still be hanging around to have fun and mess around. It is very sad and unfortunate, but what can we do?

Bella i highly doubt u have 30 ppl on in ur guild on a daily basis, more like 10 ppl. The rest of ur members are afk 24/7 or ppls alts. And dont forget the botters. earth, now i will say after you pointed out that some are alts, i reallized your right, so i narrowed it down to 16 peeps. but no matter what we have a fairly busy group.. Eternal not only cleared Grafu , we farm it every day on easy for mems as well. New instance is buggy, so i dont know if anyone has done it yet. Tosh last boss still eludes us. so? whats your point? I dont play this game to just do END GAME STUFF. I enjoy the newbs that are just starting , helping them with questin and gettin attuned to heart of the ocean, Hodl, Clops.. just to name a few.. ROM is about all the instances , not just the LAST ONES. Pffft to those who only want that.. why play at all? how boring tbh lol.

I'm an endgame healer and tank on Indigo. We are pretty much dead too, I'd say about 100 active regular players give or take some alts. A merge would be amazing, but I am sad to see how much lower your server is than mine. I'm already having difficulty finding an groups at all. I don't see why running FA or anything else should be a problem though I do keep hearing that its not worth it since its old or not the best or doesn't drop gear. Lets go do Alimus Tomb already lol. Id on't care what it drops, I just want the full experience of the game.

All aspects of the game are fun, and I will run just about anything and do any quest I can get my hands on. I have the highest amount of titles and quests on my server. All because it's old doesn't mean that you shouldn't try it or go back and have fun with it.

Heck Reactive drove his guild into the ground and stomped it dead, yet hes going to try and tell me how many people i have online a day and how many Instances we run LMAO. he sure spouts off all know it all roflll. Pffft - one thing Eternal has is friendly , solid, family type of atmosphere that has held us together through the years, also because we don't let the troublemakers stick around.... someone should know from personal experiance-- We don't have to advertise to the world what we do, and we don't have to CHEAT either, i would rather not do the instance at all, if cheating is the only way to win it. Certain people seem to be a little testy because of being banned for botting?? Thats the word on the street ... U mad bro?

Im fairly certain the new instance has only not been farmed for lack of trying... based on the vids it doesnt take mega endgamers to down. and yeah to the guy from indigo, i remember when it was the other way around and indigo seemed to be a ghost town from what people were saying. it seems we have switched roles. i remember seeing like 2 regular seigers from indigo and 5-10 from grimdal, but its definitely turned around xD

Actually, Reactive's guild, our guild, Is the strongest on the server. We farm AC bosses daily. And own seige with 6-8 man grp. No need to be guild bashing here chica... has nothing to do with the topic of the thread.

I think that a merge would be a good idea.

There are sparks of life on both servers. Grimdal seems to be real bad though. I cant complain about Indigo as I am in growing guild and run stuff every day. We are going to attempt TOSH at the end of the week. Wish us luck!

its funny cuz i heard it was way worse at indigo for a while. then like a few months ago things seemed to pick up for a bit on indigo and u guys had more goin than us. we had some key players go on break or 30day ban. but we cleared tosh nm many months ago and are 3 bosses into Aeternal circle, daily and farmable.

seriouosly tho, we counted this morning only 10 REAL people online. The rest are farmers an bots.
Im not going to give up tho, still enjoy the game,- all in all its a busy summer and i dont mind that things are slow on ROM. Who knows, winter may bring a change. =)

there's definitely some confusion with others in the thread. to clarify, I believe bella was referring to TheLegends, stpaul thought you meant Artisans, and then somehow reactive came on thinking you were talking about your own guild.

Now regarding the 10 people thing: do you really consider people working during the day on a Monday to be the meat of the server? Last I checked a large portion of the world works Monday through Friday 9 to 5. I pretty much never see anyone from Grimdal unless they login after 6 PM pacific. I know that there are occasionally 12 people active just in MIT lately, so obviously the 10 number is too low.

One thing is for certain: the server is far too dead for people to be griping over guilds and personal issues. I had the privilege of running AC normal with some Artisans guys last night and I really hope that this kind of coordination continues into the future for the good of Grimdal.

We need more people!
