I am a new player of less than 30 days, my character is an R25/S25 Elf who is level 20 in all skills except L18 in Cooking and L10 Planting.
I have done all Elven Isle Quests and about 90% of Sascila Quests. I have hunted 90% of Sascilia, all of Silverspring/Aslan EXCEPT the Ents and bouncy things, although I did try the Ents couple of times when I was L22 when it was Wham Bamm ... Ents 3 and me 0, lol. I have only successfully soloed Bosses Phant and the Grey Mane.
I believe in self help but am now at the point where it appears I have self taught about all I can and need a group of folks willing to answer all the questions a self taught noob might have, as well as assist in killing lower level bosses and low level equipment quests like Millhouse basement.
Lastly, I am a quiet person ... I speak when I have a question or believe I can contribute but unfortunately am not gifted with social vocal diarrhea.
As a noob whose still unfamiliar with much of the ROM terminology, I have plagiarized the following format from a very experienced player's earlier post who was also looking for a guild.
I am looking for a guild that will be a good match for me. Main things:
Voice Chat - Not required but MUST also use regular guild screen chat.
Active Guild - Some willing players for noob assistance during most of my play time.
Player Development - My main initial interest will be assistance in developing a fuller understanding of ROM mechanics, its abbreviations and rounding out my character. HOWEVER, I would prefer the Guild have high level players such that I will not need to seek/change Guilds once I am more experienced. If the Guild is a good fit, I would like to keep it.
Instances/Runs/Sieges - When I understand what these are I might be able to describe my interest.
Guild Members Attitude - Mature, laid back, helpful, non elitist attitude, and drama free. As to language, neither sexual blather nor swearing has any place in my game playing.
Web Site - nice but not required.
Playtime - ATM pretty intensive, from 10:00 EST to 22:00 EST but will vary. (I have a lot of "free" time having retired quite a few years ago ... no kiddie here). As my learning curve ramps up my play time and window will probably decrease.
If you believe your Guild might be a good fit then please reply with a summary of your guild and why you believe its a fit. If you wish additional data about me, please post to this thread and I will attempt to address the question.
