The Rep system

If reds got there 20% damage boost
And blues got there 20% defense boost
Then maybe there would still be hope for these PvP servers, If you cant merge us, Then please we ask, FIX us. Give us a reason to PK, wait, not a reason, But a INCENTIVE to kill people, Who wants to walk around yellow and red and drop gear and items in there backpack, no one, We have a arcane transmutor for a reason, Not only to stat and tier weapons/gear but the main reason on a pvp server, TO HIDE OUR VALUABLES. Give us reason Frogster to play your game how we use to play it.

Dont you miss the 30 people Pvping in Silverspring at PK hill? Or waiting on people to come out of Instances so you can gank/pwn them? Bring back the good times, and Ill show you how to make this money.

Wtb Indigank back..I quit you one time, Ill save you this time.

Chapter 1 and 2 was the prime of the pvp servers because thats when most people tried it out.

As said before the broken rep system and the pvp inbalance back then scared alot of people away. The people that remained there are slowly dieing out. Everything wrong with the pvp servers, stayed wrong throughout the rest of RoM's life, just like a good long list of other things. Theres little incentive to pvp than to just be a pain in the ass to people.

I would honestly go back to Indigo if alot of things were fixed.

Agreed. I logged in a few times this week because for some reason i wanna play again ;o but there's no players from the ch2-3 era online anymore, if any. Also, I go on my alt to pk some ppl and its like theyve never seen a pker before haha, I made some nub use a world chat to have me stop pking them before the Halloween event on the Varanas bridge ;o

All Pk is and ever will be is a way to flex epeen and harass other players, nothing more nothing less.

Having lived through the pk era of chapter two and the zone in point of chapter three flooded with bubbled players everywhere it does now, and since the change, seem odd to see players casually standing around not so much due to not dropping but with no expectation or fear of being pk'd.

Having also seen and gone through the level of diplomacy involved in players' getting other players' yellow VI statted gear returned to them after a pk drop (in an age of of dirty drops) I'm personally happy that that was somewhat removed. I'd go so far to suggest that equipped gear regardless of rep shouldn't drop at all and that all players' bag inventory should be up for grabs so to speak.

It's one thing to say that neutral players who haven't chosen to engage in PvP should be protected but imho in choosing a PvP server in the first place you have already made the choice to be involved. Level range caps and such do already, to some degree, protect the new players.

Shoutout to Matt / Chris / George amongst others who have long last left, I too am tempted, tempted to return.

Rich.

Oh poosh on you. PVP is way more than just flexing muscles and if you cannot see it then stay in PVE where your safe. I agree with this post, 100percent. and I was never even a active PKer in Grimdal lol.
