For Dummies guide: How to troll a server
Hi I couldn't find a thread on this so I decided to post one.
Ok to troll a server your server 1. Needs to have a fake world chat. 2. Needs to have egofantastic people on server. 3. You will need to be able to run more than 1 account on your computer. 4. You will need to know the people you are trolling. 5. You will need at least 5 "trolls" and lastly 6. You need to not forget what "troll" you are on when posting in world chat.
1. Ok lets get started with the first and main thing you need to troll a server. A fake world chat. Your server probably already has one and it is probably used to sell/buy stuff without using megaphones. So since your server probably already has one find out from a guildie or a friend what the /join command is to get in it. Once you get into the fake world chat move to step two.
2. Find out by sitting in the fake world chat for a long time and watch the chat to see who in it talks the most also watch the real world channel because the most egofantastic people will post there more than the average player. Now when trolling these people make sure they have a "trademark" something they talk about a lot or seem to be obsessed with. You will be using these "trademarks" in your trolling day.
3. You will need to be able to run more than 1 client on your computer at once. This step is easy because most of us run more than 1 client at a time already. The reason this step is useful is so that you "trolls" can interact with each other.
4. You will need to know the people you are trolling. This is important so that when you are on the "troll" it will have certain characteristics that match the person you are trolling. So spend some time in different guilds and watching the world chat to find out people's "trademarks". This step came easy for me because I have played on this server for a while now.
5. You will need at least 5 "trolls" for a couple reasons. Reason number 1. so that you can create a troll guild. Creating a troll guild makes it easier to keep track of your trolls and to weed out the imposters. While trolling Palenque I found a lot of imposters making names in World channel as well so to keep my "trolls" separate they are all in same guild so when you inquire on them it will say their guild name so you can rest assured I am trolling you. Also having multiple trolls allows you to troll world without a mega by allowing you to marry the trolls together. Also having multiples lets your trolls interact with each other by carrying on conversations with each other as their counterparts would.
6. Lastly Don't forget which "troll" you are on when posting in world channel. This is and important step because if the troll says something its counterpart wouldn't then the joke is lost and a fail troll is not a fun troll.
