some of your old guild is in Eternal now lol, Tookitunatina, Bizzballs, Roiwain... this game is only worth what your willing to put into it. If your not looking to invest some time, then it wont be worth it. Lots of new challenges.
How long would it take me to get to 80/80 (at least on 2 of my classes), since Im like 60/57 right now?
How are scouts?
Hi, Cap. I remember you from the forums "back in the day". Nice to see you again, and welcome back.
It will depend on which zone you were actively in when you left oif. If you stopped at the beginning of Chapter IV, you should still have some of Southern or Northern Janost Forest to complete, or much of Limo Desert. There are seven more zones above Limo, so that can help immensely. But...switching back and forth between your two existing classes, unless you're willing to allow the secondary to lag 5-10 levels (no more than that) behind your primary, will cut down on the amount of XP/TP you can gain on your primary. You will almost certaihly have to resort to using daily quests as fill-ins for your secondary class. I'd take it to at least level 60, what with the new Elite skills that were introduced since you last played.
Fortunately, there *are* two other zones that have come in since you last played, Coast of Opportunity and Xaviera. They are essentially intended for quickly leveling a third class. You can get this third class, but leave it at level 1 (if you want, or have no desire to level a third class) by visiting Johnny Dutin in the Hall of the Eye of Wisdom in Varanas. Accept the quest he offers, talk to him immediately after accepting (give your word to him), then turn in the quest and go to the Class Hall to choose your third class. After that, you can go to the Snoop outside the Varanas Gates and be able to transport to Heffner Camp in CoO.
The quests there have more XP/TP for a "new" low-level third class to rapidly advance. And, three of the daily quests in Xaviera have the highest XP/TP returns for classes below level 63 or so, at 266K XP each.
Scouts...are still useful, but since they were nerfed pretty hard at
the beginning of Chapter IV, they're not hugely popular as a main
class, except in Siege. Detection in Siege (against Rogues, doesn't seem to work vs. Invis pots) is very handy,
indeed. But the Scout class is generally more useful as a secondary
class in questing and running instances.
And, if you're not completely wedded to your existing character, roll up a new one. While Knights finally did get some love from RW, class skills for a lot of other classes have changed over the past couple of years and you might find a different class combination that you'd be happy with. Not to mention that Chapter V introduced Dwarves, which have two classes specific to them--Champions (DPS and Tank) and Warlocks (casters which meld well with some other caster and DPS classes). Hop up to the RoM Wiki (
