my t9, +16, 4 slots, 106 dura massacre for your t9, +16, 4 slot OD toxic bow...no runes, I provide BL's, and if needed, will wait for abl sale...

you do know, that range nerf or not, bows are total crap in dps compared to xbows?

yes, but i hate pulling aggro when buffing...and i seem to have a longer aggro range than most i run with...(i usually run with higher levels)

also, gonna be crunching some #'s on damage/dps for bow vs, xbow factoring in damage food, runes, and damage stats along with other damage buffs...i did it a while ago, and the difference between best xbow/bow was almost negligible with the faster speed. dunno if the trend continued, or xbows got more ahead than they were...

plus, i love bows sooo much better than xbows...gives me a reason to switch back ;)

I'm pretty sure this is just changing xbow to the way they used to be anyway. The advantages for bows were that they faster and had a longer range. Then speed stopped mattering and xbow range went to the same as bows for some reason.

iirc, xbows had longer range than bows a long time ago...the problem with bows vs xbows is that per the new damage formula(post ch3)(unless they changed it again), then ranged damage was more of a factor than DPS, so even if xbows and bows have same base DPS, the xbow would still be preferable...
