Vacation Time..

Howdy Reni/EDH crew,
Looks like last night my main pc crashed to the point where the power button isn't turning it on. :mad: I suspect a power supply problem of sorts, but the LED light at the back is on. Anywho, letting you know I'm going to be on forced vacation from ROM for quite a while until this gets fixed. Looking at the threads being generated from the recent patch, looks like it is good timing until all the problems gets fixed.

Power supply was an issue and is fixed now. However, looks like hard drive was also having hardware problems to the point of the data being unrecoverable...<insert coarse language>.

This is going to take much longer then I hoped (and be more expensive). Even if I get a new one, going through all the setup/configuration is going to take a while..

Hard driver are dirt cheap. prbly less then the power supply if you look.
What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about?

Ah yes, but the cost of this hardware issue is more than just that.
Items like:
- new power supply
- new hard drive
- O/S master recovery disks
- sevice of paying someone to fix this (I would just make this situation worse..)
- service of recovering as much data from bad hard drive to good hard drive as possible
- time missed playing ROM (all the gold/gear/etc I could have gotten by now)

WTB easy button, paying 10M gold. :-p
