help on getting started

I want to get started on artemis (whenever they manage to get the server up again) but I can't get an account registered. I even posted in the new member area but have yet to receive a response so I'll see if anyone here can help me.

I have a GameForge account and a forum account but when I try to register an account to play rom on the US Servers I get that message saying "Thanks for your interest! Unfortunately your country is not part of our publishing territory." How do I actually get an account to play on the US servers?

Check in with Customer Support (you'll need to register on their site, btw) and they can see what the problem might be from their end.

never got a reply but i never really expected one - I managed to get registered by using my work VPN. It seems that my ISP (ATT UVERSE) is not recognized as being in the United states??

never got a reply but i never really expected one...

I know that Customer Support have been extremely busy this past few weeks and the recent problems on some of the servers have only added to that. They 'normally' will get a response to you within 72 hours but my own most recent ticket took a lot longer.

Odd. I have U-Verse, but then, I've had an account for a bit more than four years. It might be a new problem.

As for not yet receiving a reply from Support...they've been a tad bit busy the past few days. It might take them awhile to get back to you.

What you might want to do is log back on the Support site and update your ticket--give them the information that you were trying to create a US RoM account using ATT U-Verse as your ISP. If you can, provide your IP address for them. Every little bit of information can be helpful.

Support is slow to begin with usually 5 to 7days to get a response but like posted above they are a little more backed up than usual

lol! to add insult to injury After I finally manage to register and play a little I get suspended when trying to add diamonds to my account so I can buy a mount. The worst part of it is the way my ticket gets passed to verify who tells me to make a new account since I have no characters... If they only knew how much trouble I had to even get the ones I have.

Not that I can give you any direct help with this, but more information would be useful. Where are you located and what ISP are you going through? I recall seeing a similar complaint a week or so back from someone trying to register. Their ISP is AT&T U-verse--which is damned strange, since that's my ISP and I have had no problems logging in or registering a new account.

Have you tried registering an account on the EU website? You might give that a try and see if it works or doesn't.

If you're using U-verse service, you might check with them to see if there's a reason why you're unable to register an account with the US Runes of Magic site. Their tech people seem to be pretty decent, but you might have to go the extra mile to explain exactly what's happening.

You might also try using a proxy service to get around the "region limitation". But I'd do that as a last resort.

What game DOES NOT have the USA as a country to play a game?????????????????????? I would like to actually ENJOY my long weekend by playing!!!! Support doesn't reply and I'm getting fed up very quickly!!!!

Any assistance in a TIMELY manner would be soooooooooooooooo appreciated.
