honestly im fed up with the whole situation... true that we cant rly blame gameforge for all that happened within last week on artemis... but surely there were ways to prevent all this from happening;P i swear in last 4days.. the games' been down more than it has been up.... and now.. this 11hour maintenance and counting... this is getting ridiculous

servers shut down around 10:00 am yesterday my time is 08:00 am now that's almost 24 hours. None of the higher ups are giving a valid reason as to why the server is down other than "login issues" which was fixed for all other servers almost an hour later after the shut down yesterday. and it doesent look like they actually work on the server until its fixed so think we going to have our server back up before 10:00? or will this be a 24 hour inconvenience for everyone? time to

im at the point where im about to demand a refund of the money i spent and want to move on to a different game. im a paying customer and feel i have the right to know what is going on and why things are taken so long and to be kept up to date on the issues in a timely fashion.

I hope GF doesn't open up Artemis and pretend like nothing ever happened; I expect a valid reason at the very least, if not compensation for this ridiculous downtime. Or even provide a reason DURING the downtime, 'login issues' is NOT a valid reason for downtime this long.

I would like triple exp and tp. I did so many quest last week. I didn't even know about the hack until the day before yesterday. And even when i found out they said they would not do a roll back so i wasn't worried. They said they would update us. I wonder it if would be ok at your job to tell someone you would keep them posted then not talk to them for 24 hours. Even if we are told we don't know whats going on at least that's telling us something.

Honestly speaking: if i didn't have so much tied up into the toons i have on artemis id be switching GF if you read this make a server transfer system that cost 5 bucks and let people switch to the server they want

Let's assume for a moment that the login server is currently not communicating to all the game servers. How would you describe the problem?

Now, shut up and give the Gameforge people time to fix the problem - sure it's taking a long time & we're finding it frustrating but it sure doesn't help when we get all hot and bothered and make unnecessary demands.

Go read the TOS - I'm sure there's some bits in there that would surprise you. Then, come back here and moan about how unfair they are so I can point out the similarity to almost all other games TOS too.

I don't think there is a game out there that hackers haven't influenced. Because what ever the developers do the hackers are always a few steps ahead. But that doesn't mean they shouldn't try. This is just a small period of time that they lost to the hackers. Ya it stinks and im not happy. But i dont pat them on the back for the rest of the year that they keep the game up either so i guess i don't have the right to complain.......Wait i pay for this yes i do.

All im saying is people play and pay for this game screwing servers over for 24 hours is a bit excessive for "login issues" when every single other server is up and running.

I wouldn't care if they rolled it back to when the hackers bought all the stuff off the auction house. That's when everything went sort of bust. I am honestly surprised the game economy held up after that. But we had a huge amount of duped items also. So the game would be more like i was meant to be. Not people soloing tosh and kbn.

well lets see there are only 5 so naming 6 is impossible... but reni, grimdal, osha, palenque and, govinda are up from my log in screen and i seem to have a login on them.

Sadly, Palenque has been down since they first brought the servers down yesterday morning. Although everything says it is up and running, you get a prompt to enter Howling Mountains from Pioneer Colony, you click accept and that's it, you get the same prompt again, over and over.

And this is/ was not just a login issue. I had 2 accounts online yesterday morning, went to zone one into another characters house to do some crafting and nothing happened. Tried to zone back into his house, same thing, nothing happened. I tried logging out to Char select and got stuck there. I was then chatting with another player who said he was in AV, zoned to the next zone and there were no mobs up whatsoever, he then zoned back to AV and the mobs were gone there as well. In reading world chat before I had to log due to them bringing servers down, a few people said they couldn't open up interfaces, like AH or mailbox etc.

Yes this is a free to play game, but IF everyone did free to play, GF would not be making any money. Isnt that why RW stopped selling diamonds in game off of merchants years ago? Sadly, I pay (by buying diamonds) to play this game, and for servers (any of them) to be down for 24 hours with barely an update from support is ridiculous. They even stopped updating on Facebook yesterday, I can only assume when Nyensor went home. Come on, no one else at that company has access to post updates?

People say that RW is doing a great job the rest of the year, yet Syrbal Pass has been up and live for almost a month and part of the Morrok quest is STILL broken. That questline is STILL broken in older zones(over a year old) as well, and if you don't get him within a day or two of a maintenance, you're screwed. I lost an item to a merchant, didn't realize until it moved off the buy back screen, did a support ticket right away, they didn't even reply for 3 weeks, then they say their reimbursement tool is down, to try back in a week and a half. Chances of me getting the item back that I spent RL money on to plus up, and stat and add runes to after 5 weeks= BIG FAT ZERO! Oh yeah, but they do such a great job. Wake up and stop defending them, GF is running what used to be a good game into the ground. And i'm sure most people are like me and just waiting for something, anything else to come along to leave this dead game for good.

Its just pouring the rain out side so i want to play now. Guess I will just hurry up and wait. It would be awesome if they just got rid of all duped items and gold. I guess they are talking on other channels that people knew who it was. Someone was giving out free poms and gold. Supposedly its been going on for awhile. I haven't been on forms in awhile so im not up to date on the gossip.

But US has 7 servers so if "every other server is up" then there should be 6 online. Your original assertion was false.

Me I just want to know something anything not been able to play for 2 days now, rollback cost me stats that I payed for, lost them ok I'm fine with that apart I lost puries I bought (diamonds) but we need to know if there is an atm on when we can re-log in. As I see it the hackers caused alot of this problem as I see it but would like some info as to what is happening on Artemis on a as and when we may see the server up. I know the CM's cannot do much apart from send the info from players so not there job to sort the tech side out but please give us some info to whats going on. Thanks in appreciation to the CM's for what info we had had

Looking at many of the posts above... As painful as not being able to play RoM for 1 day... if that is the end of the world for you, then perhaps you should rethink how healthy your playstyle is.

nope not that, i enjoy the game been playing since beta, just get's a bit annoying when no info is forthcoming that's all, like many i've invested RL money into game and appreciate that nothings perfect but current downtime is long with no info or a time as to when server may be back up. I have a RL but my personnel downtime is to play this game. just a we hope server should be back up in an estimated "X" hour would be nice, I know this may be not possible to say but any info is nice
