Sorry to hear about the bannings though cannot be discussed on the forums due to TOS. However it sucks to hear about grimdal, if nothing to be done about it then may as well kill the server. RIP Grimdal and fellow tiny server.

If its for the same reasons that many on my server it "should" only be 2 weeks. At least thats what half of my server are banned for. Don't know the reason and couldn't post here anyway. But seems like a lot of people got banned yesterday so I highly doubt its coincidence.

I would like to say that the bans are unfair and should be looked into...Grimdal is a dying server and you Gameforge are doing nothing to bring in new players or combine servers... heck let us in Grimdal make new characters on a server of our or your choosing and then just give us all we have from our characters on Grimdal that way we can keep playing and not have to start all over cause I for 1 will not make a character on a new server and spend all the money and time I spent all over but if you did like I am saying I would be willing to continue to play and spend money at that time... but the bans that happened were and are way out of line and really need to be relooked at

Just on a principal note, and irrespective of this particular situation: I don't think accepting cheats is a way to keep servers alive. So it is simply not right to even ask "how dare you ban on a dying server?" - the question is so wrong I can't believe someone asked it this way...

Which does not change the fact that we have seen in the past bans where just a warning would do, so it is not wrong that you are asking about the general rules etc. All I'm saying that whether a server is populated or not should really make no difference.

Pity you don't know the reason. You cannot discuss any particular cases on the forum, but if there is a wave of bans for one particular reason, I don't think anyone would mind a little info about this on the forum. After all the idea behind punishing is also that others learn and don't do the wrong. And you share this info anyway in guild, on ts etc. so why not on the forum.

So from this point of view, without mentioning particular toons etc, may I ask if anyone knows what this ban wave is about?

Well good news, is possible server merges sometime next year!

In the case of Grimdal bannings, I highly recommend you contact support. I unfortunately cannot discuss any more details on the forums but contacting support CAN and WILL help you in this case. Please, contact support.
