Runes of Magic US / AU

I stayed logged in until the end. You will be missed. Server went through a lot over the years, starting in AU and dragged kicking and screaming to the USA. Upsetting 1000's of players who were angry with the pings going from 30 to 350 and later leaving. The destruction of the Item Shop we had with X runes, GMs allowing the moving of purchased items from one toon to another, GMs doing player name changes, and GMs that would log in chill with people, then gameforge took that away one day, then quickly after there was a mass exodus of players that never returned.

Only screen captures and video's now remain.

RIP Thalia and all those who were not able to log back in. Even those we all knew that sadly passed away, Thalia was a fun community where many guilds knew eachother thanks to Team Speak, Vetrillo and other voice chat programs.


Not sure how I feel about the merger, I do believe with better management that listen to and asked the player base what they want would have seen the merge never needing to go ahead. But new times ahead, more noobs to accuse you of something, more people trying to get you banned as an ultimate way of defeating you.


Something that can't be fixed with a merger is time zone differences, ex-Thalia will still be online mostly when USA is sleeping, and the decision now to leave guild for a new one or not.

Well the transfer hasnt worked well for me. Lost access to 8 accounts, 3 of which are my main raiding toons, and one which is holding over 700 proof of myths which is also my 1st account made in rom.

On nearly all accounts the order of the toon names in the list of 8 is mixed up, that will take getting used to.

So looks like without main toons I am no longer needed, might just think about parting ways now instead of fighting for weeks with support.

I can still log in to the forums with the account details, but I can not log in to the game now with the same details. I thought maybe someone here has the same account name, but to have the same problems on the other accounts, well maybe not duplicate account names.

2nd edit: I can no longer log in to my account from the webpage either. So only forum access only now.

Yes, i spoke to Saito several hours ago and we worked that one out. So at present i have managed to log in every toon. But the Toon Order in the list of 8 chars per account has been resorted on every account to Alphabetical order, So main toons per account are not always in position one anymore. Bit of a hindrance, but i can deal with it.

Hope they can work some magic to allow a custom order.
