Reni serious population Decrease!

Wow guys, i wish i could transport my character to another server I'm Level 41 mage.
currently i have never seen RoM in this state before, where no one is present.. it's an
actual ghost town, which servers have a decently good population? I really wish i knew
how to export my character to another server, don't want to start over again also
i have so many unopened items i bought in the past, diamonds and items i haven't
even used yet when i picked up my copy of Runes of Magic from Walmart long ago.

Serious Depopulation on Reni...

Hello my good friends of the RoM Community....

I've been with RoM since day one of the beta days back in 2008,
never ever saw this game in a state like this before ever wow.
and i've taken a long hiatus from RoM now i wish i would have stuck
around, which are the most populated or decent amount of people
on any other server on here? Is there a way i can transfer my character
to another sever omg i hope it's possible, i spent years and upgrading my
character weekly or usually sooner than that. I've got my diamonds i bought
back in 2009 and haven't used them at all. I purchased RoM from walmart
back years ago, just to get the free cool items and i haven't even used some
of those yet! And don't want to lose it all starting all over again. :( I know you
guys are saying the samething about the population on Reni and probably
many other servers, i read s post on here a user mentioned about a server
merge that would be totally awesome. Just wish we we're back we're we
used to be back in the days. Man.. can't believe it's been six years since RoM
been around remember the times it won mmorpg of the year i think for 2
years in a row.

The server merges have started at some time in the (near by the messages we have been given ) future Reni will be merged with other servers and in theory the population will increase.

There will be server merge in the near future. Reni is merging into Artemis. Thalia is already merged into Artemis. Palenque, Indigo, Grimdal, and Osha are merging into Govinda. Also, most of the low level zones on all servers have a light coating of dust on them.

the server merge brought a lot of people back, but when they saw that old problems still aren't fixed, and their original reason for leaving not addressed, not sure how long they will stay. I know of at least one person already who has returned for the merger, saw that nothing was fixed, and promptly quit again.

Low level zones are empty no matter what server you are on, honestly. Join a guild and your server's free world chat and you'll see people.

As mentioned, the population on all servers has been in decline for awhile now, hence the server mergers. At this point all any of us can do is speculate and either remain optimistic that once the mergers have been completed that the server communities will become more vibrant again or they wont. Either way only time will tell. That said, it is totally normal in any game this old for the lower level zones to seem rather empty. Recommend to the OP to either join an active guild or seek out a more active guild if you are in one that isn't meeting your gaming needs. :)

He's actually right. There are people still on reni b ut social people not so much. The people that would talk in world arn't around as much and no one uses trade anymore. I haven't seen a word said in trade in months. Most stick to their own guilds when talking. If your not in their guild You won't even know they exist at all. Not many low lvl players are around that haven't reached lvl cap so you won't see many people out when questing if your lower lvl. Mostly people hang around the hubs or instances. There are people but its quiet.
